This was Woody Harrelson just flowing his best comfortably to the audience. Funny, not over played, solid physical humor.
The rest of the cast was good and a real pleasure to watch. The small touches like the captioning really brought the movie together.
Don't go see if for the blood and guts - that was very campy. But it allowed it to be a zombie comedy and not a confused gross out that took it self seriously white trying to be funny.
I hope to see it again.

This movie was both funny and fun to watch. There was great cast chemistry, and without delving deeply into the lives of the characters they were still interesting and worthy of rooting for. There was surprisingly no nudity for an R-rated horror movie, no sexscenes, and although there was some language, it was not as heavy handed as I'd expect in an R-rated horror film. I'll likely go see it again while it's at the theater, and it will be a definite purchase when it comes out on DVD.

This movie was a lot of fun. Mostly I would describe it as an action comedy, but it also had small romantic sections. I jumped in my seat about 20 times. Zombieland was like a cross between Dawn of the Dead and Shawn of the Dead, it had all the horror, action and comedy.
The main character is a little derivative of the kid from Arrested Development/Juno.

Movie was funny from beginning to end. Hysterical lines, perfect dead pan timing, actors, great effects & action sequences. A few minutes of drag time here and there, but the end left you wanting more - I hope they did that for sequel purposes as it ended rather abruptly without a real closing to the story. I told everyone it was a must see comedy in the the theater and I'll definately add it to my DVD collection when it comes out.

Basically this zombie movie is every true gamer's dream movie. Its an hour and a half of zombie murdering mayhem. I went in to this movie hoping for a fun movie to watch and it did not disappoint. I'm not a big fan of horror or gore. Zombieland was not scary and the gore was pretty tame. I almost gave it 5 stars but figured I couldn't give it the same rating I'd give to the Toy Story double feature or Inglourious Bas terds. However, the entertainment value to me is 5 stars. Zombie movies have made a turn for the better over the last decade or so, and this is no different. It mixes the whimsical humor of "Shawn of the Dead" with the blunt American ethic of the newer "Dawn of the Dead" and sprinkles them with some nice, original surprises.
Only criticism is that movie makers can not seem to wrap their head around a zombie movie where the female characters don't do something obviously and unrealistically foolish that lands them in trouble. This one is no different, so the ending lost me a bit. But not so much that I didn't enjoy myself.

My son wanted to see this movie for his birthday. Reluctantly, my wife and I agreed to take him. We were glad we did. From the moment Zombieland starts it pulls you in and makes you laugh, scream and cheer. The movie and cast deliver 100% and keep you begging for more. The only let down is that the fun only lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes. We'll be visitng Zombieland again real soon. :)

My husband and brother dragged me to see this movie and I ended up loving it. A cross between Super Bad and Shaun of the Dead, I was jumping and laughing at the same time. Woody Harrelson was hysterical! There was an unexpected cameo that made the movie for me.

completely stupid movie for the over 40 crowd. Hilarious to the 16 and under crowd. We'll look back on this as the absolute lowest point for Woody. No plot and stupid dialogue. Jesse saves it from a straight to video flick but even he can't turn it into a good movie. Too bad. Waste of 10 bucks.

This movie was hilarious. I laughed so hard at this movie. The ators were funny but the plot was stupid. So I chalked that up to it being a comedy. I would recommend this movie to anyone who is looking for a good laugh and not alot to think about.
