First movie in a long time that I thought was truely funny. The preveiws on TV were a match for how funny this movie was. A little on the short side for my wife, but I thought it was just the right length for a zombie movie. Not really too much left to make a zombie with. Just the right amount of blood, guts, and humor. A solid 'A' of a movie.

The cast meshed really well together in what could be called a rule book for zombie hunting. It was an easy and fun watch with rather gruesome and at times, large zombies who spewed a lot. Bill Murray's cameo added a little additional comic relief in the middle, where it was needed. A must for zombie fans out there!

Timely exploitation of the current pop-culture zombie craze. Played for laughs rather than over-the-top gore, & it does deliver on the laughs---mostly from the intellectual vs. macho mismatch between the two leads. Jesse Eisenberg fits well as the nerdy college kid, but is just doing a prolonged Michael Cera impersonation ...leading me to wonder, why didn't they just cast Michael Cera? The director relied too much on a gimmicky 3D caption device (eg., current Volkswagen commercials)---trendy, contributes nothing of value. The dialog and character development are halfway decent, rescuing this from being C-grade "rent, don't see" material. Solid B+ effort if you have any attraction at all to the whole zombie phenomenon.

The movie was hilarious. The story was well thought out. There was more than enough zombie killing action to keep you on the edge of your seat.
