This movie exceeded my expectations and delivered one of the funniest spoofs on a horror film that I've ever seen. All the actors are pitch-perfect and there's an awesome cameo by ______ that you'll remember forever. This is one of those rare movies that only a few people were anxiously awaiting, but that most will enjoy. I certainly did!!!

This by far is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Not since 300 have I ever wanted to simply stand up and cheer! The characters are well thought out, crazy in each of their own ways, and absolutely hilarious! Lots of blood, so if you're a tiny bit squeamish, just look away from the screen. Totally worth it!

My expectations were shattered immediately when I realized this isn't a traditional zombie/horror flick. And, that's not bad for "Zombieland." It's really a light-hearted look at finding friends, famiy and yes, zombies. A tale of developing bonds, creating trust and realizing who you are or want to be. Harrelson's at his best with dead-pan sarcasm. Jesse Eisenberg offers a great performance, too. Unfortunately, the girls were largely forgettable. An incredible cameo by Bill Murray was timed perfectly. In summary, if you want true zombie-butt kicking to the max look elsewhere. However, if you want to have about 81 minutes worth of fun...check out "Zombieland."

After seeing the previews for this movie I had very high expectations and it lived up to and exceeded my expectations by a mile. Even my wife and my friend’s wife really enjoyed the movie and neither are zombie movie fans. The audience applauded wildly at the end of the movie, I have not experience this for over a decade. I can't recommend this movie enough. Go see it, and then go see it again.

Cast was inspired, especially the cameo actor who made the entire film for me. Gory, funny and funny, funny, gory. The hits just kept on coming. "Seriously, you've never heard of Willie Nelson?" A zombie movie with a sense of humor - and horror! This was the perfect combination of both, so just when you thought you were safe....BAM! I went from laughing to clapping to gasping - all in one sitting. Entertaining from start to finish, this movie had just enough (and then some!) gore to satisfy my dark side, and just enough humor to balance out my "happy" side. Even the acting was quite tolerable, however, I was expecting as much from Woody Harrelson. His character was played out to the "T"....the rest of them held their own, and all in all, well....I'm going to go see it again. Right up there with "Shaun of the Dead". I'll be seeing this one again.

I've been waiting on this movie to come out since Woody was arrested in the airport! It definitely delivers what the trailers suggest and more! The cameo of ?????? was probably the best part of the film. All in all, the movie really left me with the question: "What would I do for a twinkie?"

Zombieland is a well made action comedy with some light horror elements and well written characters.
It's not quite the second coming of funny zombie movies that everyone would have you believe. I felt it was amusing but never quite reached real comedic heights, and for an 82 minute movie there are a few scenes that seem drag a bit. The movie was also afraid to go anywhere dark in terms of tone or violence so the who thing feels rather weightless in tone.
Still, it's a fun lighthearted experience.

....okay - that doesn't make a lot of sense....but Zombieland is what it is.....an original tale - full of funny, weird quirkiness - told well. Zombies in Zombieland are not really the focus of the movie. Here Zombies are simply the "natural disaster" that forces our unlikely quartet of lead characters together into a post-apocalypse family just doing their best to "get along"....and kill a few zombies along the way - often in creative and grotesque ways. Humor and sheer craziness are woven throughout the 81 minute tale. Don't fight it - just go with the flow - and Zombieland may just bring your fall 2009 movie-viewing experience "back to life". A "no-brainer" - see it!

best movie ive seen in a while. keeps your attention throughout the whole thing.. hilarious.. great actors.. hey, bill murray is in it, what more can i say? zombies actually look like they would eat you, and its nice to get some humor out of it. recommend to those who think this kinda stuff is funny, definitely not for the weak of stomach!!

Simply hilarious, enthralling, one of the best comedy horrors possibly ever made. Never got too emo, never got too serious. Wasn't too long or too short. The entire theater cheered with applause at the end. We are already talking about seeing it a second time. Woody's character was awesome, he's the zombie killer every man wants to be. If you have doubts about this movie I can promise you will not regret your admission fee.
