I guess horror is a difficult genre and this movie would prove that...it is not scary at all. All the usual story lines and camera angles for a horror movie were employed but not a tingle or a chill went up my spine.

I liked the movie. It had action, horror, a good back story that wasn't given to me in the first five minutes, and some decent gore. The story line has been used before and it's really not such a complex plot, but it was very entertaining. Overall, I'd give it a B-. Now, for someone who doesn't like horror movies, it's still decent enough to watch because it's not so over the top with the execution.

Overall I liked the movie but I guess hearing that it was a George Romero remake made me think it was going to be filled with brain eating zombies. This is more of a virus outbreak survival film. It works. And the infected are zombie like. But they're more like crazy murderers. Which makes the name of the movie quite appropriate. Go see it. It's a good creepy movie with a few 'make you jump' scenes in it.

I was actually really impressed with the movie, overall. I thought that it was a decent story with just enough suspense and action/gore to keep me interested, without being annoying.
I would defiantly recommend this movie, although, not entirely necessary for the big screen to be enjoyable, I liked squeezing my sweetie's hand while some "crazies"were wreaking havoc on the screen. :)

This is your basic people go crazy and start killing other people movies. I wasn't insanely violent like most movies are today. The reason everyone in this town is going crazy is fairly obvious. The film starts out really well done with a guy coming onto a baseball field with a shotgun but then fluctuates for the rest of the movie. It wasn't so much scary as it was a little erie.

Good solid movie. I was actually surprised I was entertained throughout the whole movie. The storyline has been done but it seemed and felt different compared to all the typical gore/action movie Ive seen. I do recommend watching this film but you can watch it on dvd. You dont need to see it in the theatre. I give this movie a solid B for the consistency of keeping me entertained and watching it to the end of the film.
