I wasn't sure what to expect from the trailers. It reminded me of Event Horizon meets Aliens.
The movie wasn't as suspenseful as I expected, but it was well-paced and the characters were interesting.
The ending was a little disappointingly neat, but overall I enjoyed the movie.

It's an amazing Sci-fi movie, that manages to avoid most of the pitfalls, plotholes and cliches that plague the genre. It has a believable, dark atmosphere that really emphasizes the hopelessness of the situation. I'd say that Pandorum is every ounce as good as District 9 (admittedly, very different movies)

I really enjoyed this movie, loved the plot, loved the twist. Did get confusing at times but it picked up alil while after. The acting was pretty good as well. Would def recommend to a friend, ( take my word for it, i saw the movie twice)

This is my first ever review. I found Pandorum a really great break-from-reality movie. Although sci-fi is not my thing, this movie kept me interested all the way through. I thought the performances of Mr. Foster, Cung Le, Cam and Antjie were really terrific. I'd like to see Cung Li in more movies with speaking parts. This movie has a twist at the end, which was a refreshing departation from "the ususal." Go see it!

An original atmosphere is created in "Pandorum". This is sometimes really cool, original and adds to the "crazy" plot line....while at other times it is too frenetic with some rather large plot holes. The acting gets an A+....as does the make-up effects, CGI and general effect of the mutated creatures aboard the ship. The movie is so dark, slimy and grimy that we all breathe a communal sigh of relief at the end....along with those shipmates that survive the journey. This SciFi flick is not for everybody. It does require a bit of patience and a dulled "gag reflex" ....but it has some original themes, some surprise twists & turns and a satisfying "surprise" ending that makes it worth the journey for those that like this kind of "tea". See it!

This was an excellent theater film. It was dark, scary, and had great visual effects and sound. Typically there isn't much of a storyline to horror films, but this one kept me interested, and had its share of twists and surprises. The acting was great, except maybe for Dennis Quaid, although I've never been a very big fan of his work to start with. But luckily the film didn't focus as much on his character as the others. And to top it all off, it has a really great happy ending. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, and makes you jump off a few times. I would probably go see it again in the theater if I wasn't currently unemployed. But I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes suspenseful, gruesome sci fi films.

Movies nowadays you cant expect much from the storylines. With that said, this movie was pretty decent. I actually yawned in the latest Jason horror flick, but this movie I admit I jumped several times and got a little edgy. Emotions like that is worth the money. You have to put yourself in the shoes of the characters to appreciate the events. Quad was okay, but they could used a better person. Quad is Quad and he overacts most times.

The best part of this movie comes at the end during the last 10 minutes.. Those final 10 minutes are the only reason why I gave this movie 3-stars instead of 2. Picture this: you wake up from a deep sleep in a closed off section of a ship in the middle of space with paranoia and amnesia covered in a fresh layer of skin and green slime. In this day and age, that scenario is something we have all seen way too many times since the original Aliens was released. This is an ambitious attempt that feels unfocused and choppy. That said, it's an interesting attempt to expand the genre that's worth seeing for the ending. Don't expect much, but enjoy.

This movie was so aggravating. You don't find out why these creatures are hunting down the crew till the end of the movie. Dennis Quade must have been drunk the night he signed on for this role. This was a bad movie that you should probably wait until it is on the scifi channel.

OK, I have to admit I reluctantly went to this movie after much encouragement from my sons. The movie had me hooked after the first five minutes and I sat on the edge of my seat for the rest! The premise is excellent, the movie though drags along at a snails pace, the ugly creatures ridiculous and Dennis Quaid should stick to comedic roles. Disappointed would be an understatement. I was looking forward to this movie for a few months... but it didn't live up to my expectations. Foster was pretty good... Quaid was (surprisingly) ok, but the others... wow. really bad! the girl, the cook and the hunter...should be written right out of the story. she ruined the whole movie for me. The storyline is adequate for the genre, the acting passable, The special effects good enough. The reason the movie didn't work for me was that it is relentless. there is no time to catch one's breath, just one pace - break neck. I realize that doesn't sound so bad, but the plot is simple and therefore the 'action' is incredibly repetitive. Basically, the good guys run away from the bad guys and run and run and run. The music is relentless as well. You have to change the pace once and a while to build some suspense. Too bad. It almost made it.

After seeing the trailers for this movie and the fact that Dennis Quaid was in it I wasn't too sure if I even wanted to go see it. Suprisingly it turned out to be a good movie with a solid plot that kept you guessing all the way through. There were some things that they could have done so much more with but overall the good far outweighs the bad. Ben Foster does a great job in this movie my guess is we are going to be seeing alot more roles for him in the future. If there was one thing that I would have changed it's the cheesy looking mutated zombie things but if you can overlook that and see the big picture like the cool story, good plot, and awesome acting than I guarentee you will like this movie.

This movie was very weak overall. Between the rediculous "monsters", the obvious shortcomings of the psycolgical twist, and the "lets hurry up and try to tie everything together" ending, there's not really anything positive to say about it beyond having a few good action sequences.

This was one of the worst movies I've seen in a while. It tried to take too many elements from too many sci-fi movies and stitch them together and they wound up with a horrible Frankenstein monster of a movie. I should have seen Surrogates instead!

This movie might have been better if it hadn't been filmed mostly in the dark. With or without glowsticks it still made it extremely diffucult to watch. It had a couple of twists that seemed to connect the movie into a somewhat entertaining experience, but overall the movie was far too predictable, deafening and reminescent of other space sci-fi's. I would not recommend it nor watch it agian even if it was free.

I didn't expect this movie to be this good, from the advertisment my expectations where of another zombie movie. But fortunately this movie was beyond great and i expect a follow up to come. If you enjoy a thriller and a good scare followed by awsome graphics this is the movie for you!
