I'm glad I saw the movie; it was educational and entertaining. I would have left out the beginning scene; it wasn't helpful and was out of context; would have been better at the end. Also, I think he should talk less about socialism; tends to scare people off and isn't necessary. In general, he provided a lot of good historical review and was thought-provoking and had some good ideas. Loved the funny scenes where he tried to talk with exec.s and tried to get money back; would have liked more of that. Good movie.

The pendulum has swung too far to the right, and Michael Moore throws this in our faces. Wall Street and government are far too intertwined, and examples of this are shown repeatedly. The examples, however, are mesmerizing. Two hours pass very quickly, and we are left in the end to contemplate what we can do to change our situation. The film is brilliantly assembled and gives both sides their due!

Michael Moore does it again - with perhaps a less biting approach than movies past, but no less effective, maddening and motivating. His ability to drive home his point with simplicity and clarity is proved again : capitalism is NOT democracy, and vice-versa. We all need to take a hard look at our elected leaders and oust the ones who represent greed, big business-outrageous bonuses, and special interests. Be clear: these politicians don't represent YOU. Last November's election made clear Americans still have a voice. Let's use it. We've been slapped in the face with the abismol alternative -- known as apathy. Thanks again, Michael.

a great movie, what Moore revealed in the movie is very true but ignored by us most time. Capitalism is not perfect definitely. It makes no sense to say capitalism represents Christianity. I am tired with the hostile ideology stereotypes in many Americans' minds. We have to ask ourselves, why can we think we are better than others and we are always right?
I am the youngest one I guess in the theater watching this movie. I bet all others are above 45 years old. Maybe most people by that age, start able to reflect themselves.

I have never missed a Michael Moore movie and when I heard of this new one I could not wait. It did not disappoint and I found it very factually correct. What this movie lacked was Michael Moores previous outrageous antics. This movie was tecnical and I had to laugh out loud about the derivates monologue--he is so right-most people do not have a clue as to what derivatives are. I will at this point reveal that I was part ot the mortgage banking system for the main bank Mr. Moore keeps mentioning and I will not put in writing. Overall I love this movie but may not be for everyone. Would still recommend this highly!

Its hard to review a Michael Moore film without getting entrenched in politics but I'll try. As a craftsman, Moore is quite good at his art. He's funny, intelligent, insightful, and knows how to pull on the strings of your heart. And now he has his own history to add to the film's story. Looking back on his prediction from Roger and Me about the coming bankruptcy of GM, its hard not to hear him out even when you feel as though he's using a sledge hammer to pound in a thumb tack. Watching him trying to make a citizen's arrest at the headquarters of AIG is brilliant. For a man who has become wealthy, he still has the heart of a worker and artist. And that is what makes this film worth watching.

And, I never say that. It's a very revealing film, exposing the willing subversion of government by big business and the top 1% of the wealthy. The ray of hope held out to combat this: one person, one vote.
The film is very well thought out in terms of its presentation. There are tales of ignominy and triumph. A real stand-out is Rep. Marcy Kaptur (Ohio) - we need more like her.
My personal fave: clip from "Roger and Me", and Moore's subsequent attempt (again) to gain entry to GM.

I thought the movie was eye opening. It really made me see who truly rules this country and all of the lies we've been fed so that the rich can continue their charades. Also let's you see how the hard working people are treated while the rich get richer and don't care about the rest of us. Michael Moore has onec again revealed the truth to America, but will we pay attention?

A significant documentary, for those who are ready and willing to acknowledge the dreadful truth concerning today's capitalism and the thieves who dominate this nation.
For once the truth is being told… the vast majority Americans did not and are not losing their homes and/or jobs due to laziness or stupidity, etc. They have been defrauded by a system that premeditated to benefit the wealthy 1%.
The launching of never ending personal attacks against Mr. Moore only validates his case. We as a society are quickly becoming mindless debt slaves who are allowed to exist just to support the excessive, self-indulgent, live styles of this country’s corrupt, ruling class.

While not as focussed as Moore's previous movies [perhaps because the subject was far broader?], Moore successfully describes the vital distinction between democracy and capitalism and it is largely a moral one. The common good vs the plutocrats.

Now with real resources behind him Moore has crafted his best doc to date. This should be compulsory viewing, and is a salutary reminder that capitalism is a lot more involved than just "work hard and you get the rewards."
This film highlights how corporate greed has conned millions out of their homes, savings, and jobs.
But more importantly it also shows how, eventually, there comes a time when the silent majority take it no more and start to fight back - because they have nothing else to lose and they are morally right.
The story beginning with a reflective look at the aspirations in ancient Rome and ending in the ruins of New Orleans after the floods, was extremely well conceived.

This movie opened my eyes. Of course, Moore's movies have a way of doing that. I was outraged at the way our government sells us out for the support of the banking industry. Corruption is everywhere- the only people that should have been bailed out is the American people. IT is now clear that our government is owned by WallStreet- and I have heard the call to action! Thank you Michael Moore- keep rattling the cages!

I so very enjoy the Met HD productions. I get tickets for most. I enjoy them that much. The first scene was a little much on the dark side but I still loved it. The singing was outstanding as was the acting. Scarpia couldn't have looked more evil if he tried. I think we could have left out the brothel 'costuming' or rather lack thereof and one of the 'action' scenes in the brothel and we all still would have known what goes on here but nevertheless, I very much loved this production, the singers, the costuming and scenery. Like most other met HD operas I've seen, Tosca was excellent. I've already recommended it and would see it again in a flash. I can't wait for the next -- Aida. BRAVO, BRAVO and BRAVO

I went their expecting to be angered by something I saw, but after watching this movie, I have no idea how these big banks get away with what they do get away with. They should all be strung up from the highest tree.

More left wing drivel worshipping the radical left wing golden calf Obama.
I have some questions that can be asked:
1) How come about a year into Obama's reign we are now at the very high 9.8% unemployment?
2) Why do left wingers say that we are not in a recession anymore when the rate of unemployed is an all time high?
3) How come thousands of car dealers were closed down because they didn't have the connections with the Obama campaign that others did?
4) Why does the Golden Calf continue to dismantle the safeguards that kept america free from terrosist attacks for 8 years?
This movie is for hard left and the extremely gullible.
