This movie was great in every way. Whether you are a fan of Marvel Comics and cartoons, you will more than enjoy and love this movie. They did an excellent job with collaborating each character, and you will not be disappointed. Well worth your money.

I'm not a fan of the original Avengers comic series, but I have enjoyed the two Iron Man films very much. And now I can't wait to rent "Thor" and "Captain America," so I can get the rest of the story. Avengers has a tight, humorous script, excellent performances, deep relationships between the characters, and it's almost unnecessary these days to say how awesome the special FX are. The story is intriguing, but not so complicated as to confuse people who haven't seen the previous films that lead up to this one. Having seen it both in 2D and IMAX 3D, I definitely say splurge for the IMAX 3D, even though the 2D is no less enjoyable. One word of advice... stay for the credits... ALL the credits. There's not one, but TWO extra scenes.

Best movie in a long time. Really funny and great action sequences. I don't like the Hulk much, but thought they did a great job on his character. I was happy that all of the Avengers got plenty of screen time and they didn't lock in on one or two. Also, not too much gooey stuff, but a good job of showing emotion when appropriate. I'm buying this dvd asap.

As a superhero movie goes, you can't get much better. The balance between all of these larger than life personalities was perfect, and for a two-and-a-half hour movie - not a second was wasted. The action and special effects were fantastic, and the acting wasn't too shabby either. Scarlett Johansson in her Black Widow costume was the icing on the cake.

The action never stops so the length of the movie is not an obstacle. I don't nomally like films that run longer than two hours because they drag somewhere along the line but this was an outstanding achievement. Kudos to Joss Whedon and his team. I already loved the actors especially Chris Evans (hometown boy) and Robert Downey Jr. they make a great team. Looking forward to the sequel.

I was pleasantly surprised when I finished watching this movie. It was better than I expected. While there were one or to slow spots, the overall effect was an enjoyable afternoon of humor and action rolled into a single film. The actors did a great job and remained in character throughout.
The only thing that detracted the most for me was the fact that the writers were inconsistent with previous plot lines by allowing Tony Stark to drink. Keeping in mind that Iron Man 2 revealed he was an alcoholic, this inconsistency was a little jarring and out of character. Hopefully, the producers will keep a closer eye on this for Iron Man 3.

I have to say I was skeptical about this movie. While I have enjoyed spiderman, Capt America, Ironman I & II, and Thor (although the weakest of the set..don't get me started on the Hulk movies) I thought this would be a gloss over. I really enjoyed the balance of humor, internal team tension (that was present in the comic series), and the action of course. I think it was well done. Have to give special props to the Hulk this time. I think they got him right, though I don't know if a stand alone movie will float. I found Black Widow as a distraction and that's about it. Overall I think they did a great job with the movie.

I went into the movie having seen 3/5 movies leading up to this (ie. Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man), and came out wanting to go back and see the other two as well. From a very young age I have dreamt of a super hero movie that could live up to what my imagination would normally have to deliver. Sitting on the floor of old man Lamberts pharmacy when I was 5 years old reading about the Hulk and that was 46 years ago. As the years went by I have seen the weakest, worst, most awful attempts at super hero TV shows and movies alike. This!! This is exactly what I have been waiting for. It is a comic book come to life. No swearing, nudity, gore needed at any time. And yet the violence, the comedy, the drama....nothing is missed. Just be sure to stay even after the first set on credits ends because there is another scene even after those.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, great special effects

There are no bad word for this movie. What I can describe about this movie that it is a must see movie. I am planning to see it at least 10 times in theatre.... Love all the elements!!!

Movie was awesome, fantastic, and I can't wait for the next one (as well as owning this one when it's out). It felt like a seamless continuation of the Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America movies. I didn't feel like I sat and watched a two and a half hour movie, I felt it kept a good pace. I would definitely go see this again in the theater if I get the chance!
