This movie was phenomenal. I took my husband and kids to a Sunday matinee and couldn't stop talking about it to anyone who would listen. The action was spectacular. My daughter, 4 years old, could not stop repeating "Mommy Hulk hit Thor". What an impression to leave. After this, I took 185 middle school students to see it and they too felt the same way. It is worth seeing on the big screen, maybe even 3D. We are all looking forward to a sequel.

Best movie I've seen in a long time. Great for fans and non-fans alike. A great mix of action, effects and humor. Everyone laughed at some pont and the humor wasn't overdone or put in as an afterthought like some movies, particularly some of the recent hero-based flicks. As the title says, Joss delivers large. Thanks for a great flick.
Now, I hope Prometheus is as good...

I absolutely loved this movie. The story was great, it was funny, dramatic. It had a lot of action but it wasn't overwhelming. Its got a lot of replay value. The only flaw I could find is in a couple of lines. But all in all it's an amazing movie.

Everything about this movie was fantastic. Held my attention from the start. I would recommend seeing the movies that led up to this - both Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America. Definately Thor, since a lot of the premise of the Avengers is based on the Thor movie. A must see, big screen movie!

I am not a hard core Marvels person at all. I just learned about the plot a day before. I watched Thor for the first time the night before going to the movies. I absolutely loved it!! the interactions between characters are funny. From a girls point of view, you will leave the theater with a new crush in at least one superhero :)

I am not a huge fan of the comic/movie genre in general, however one comes along now and then worth a look see and this is one of them. I never watched the original Iron Man's, Thor, or Hulk...so this was my 1st look at them. I did see Cpt. America more for the period work rather than the comic aspect though, which is why I went. That said, I think this was smartly cast, and their snarky dialogue did a good job of making this a fun movie to watch. I do say that Loki was by far the best of the bunch and stole the show for me.

I loved the movies leading up to this one and I loved anything I've seen of Whedon's, but the whole is way greater than the sum of its parts. Joss did a great job of giving ample time to all characters. They will be hard pressed to top this one. I can't wait to see it again.
