I really like the Thor story and how it ties in with the Avengers group.
The visuals were great!
They could have found someone better to play Thor's love interest.

A very pleasant surprise: was anticipating some great actions scenes and special effects. Got those, and a whole lot more: good story, good acting, good directing and sets, excellent costumes, and a great little endscene following the credits to lead us to the sequel. Nice work, and a film most should enjoy.

I wasn't expecting much from this film. I mean, Thor is ridiculous but the stars and the director make it all work.
Thor is just an arrogant trust-funder who finds his heart after becoming mortal.
I look forward to the Avengers now.

Several folks had favorable things to say about "Thor" so we decided to see it. Since it is based on a comic book character, there are certain plot points that one must accept, which we did gladly. That said, some of the dialogue was a bit trite and cheesy, however we still enjoyed the movie.
