I got talked into seeing this pathetic excuse for a film and almost got up and left about 15 minutes into it. If I hadn't been with a friend who wanted to see it I would have gotten a refund and gone home. This movie's target audience consists of 18-year-old male HS dropouts who think that getting wasted at their trailer park every weekend and scoring a BJ in an elevator is top-notch entertainment. PLEASE spare the rest of us. Never again.

I didn't think I'd like this movie because I've seen so many that I thought were similar, but, in the end, it turned out to be really funny and enjoyable. The only reason that it's not 5 stars is because they could have found a better way to have closed out the search.

This movie was the funniest I have seen in a long time - my side hurt from laughing so hard at some of the scenarios these men get themselves involved in - I would highly recommend it - and plan on buying it when it is released on DVD.

Like "Dude Where's My Car?" but more grown up. They have everything in this movie from a masturbating baby to molesting a tiger. There were several really funny moments and neat ideas that I didn't really laugh at but everyone else did. But it was good fun to watch.

I feel dirty. THE HANGOVER is an in-your-face shockfest ripe with rampant F-bombs, gross out humor and seemingly random (if not distracting) Vegas celebrity exploitation (i.e. Mike Tyson, Wayne Newton and Carrot Top)... Despite its MANY flaws, THE HANGOVER is a fun hour and a half buddy movie romp that offers memorable characters and an outrageous study of a distinctly male Rite of Passage gone horribly, hysterically wrong.

I'm not quite sure why everyone we talked to said they laughed all the way through - I didn't think it was that funny until the second half when you start learning what really happened. The story started with the end and then went back to the beginning, which because they couldn't remember anything, wasn't that funny at that point! It had it's moments but the last half was definitely the funny part.
I guess this is the danger of hearing nothing but raving reviews, your expectations get too high.
As another reveiwer said here, 'it's definitely a guy movie'.
