Yea, this movie sucked. Not only was it boring but it was really really stupid. i can't believe i wasted 2 hrs of my life. i would not recommend this movie to anyone. Actually i feel bad for the people that do go and see it.

If you like slasher movies, you will be fine with this one - though the ending is a surprise.... all I will say is i) Sigourney Weaver is getting old (how time flies!), and (ii) I now know why there is a movement to legalize pot :)

While a little cheesy at times, the mix of humor and horror was a nice touch! A new storyline that hasn't been done and redone a million times in Hollywood was refreshing. One liners are great as expected from Joss Whedon :)

The movie is more like Resident Evil than Saw, except that it's funny. The "Umbrella Corp." in this movie is like an old IBM facility underground equipped with a System 360 mainframe, a rotary phone, etc.--retro yet awesome. The actresses are pretty. Couldn't predict the ending till the end. Saw it on a new Sony 4K screen at San Jose AMC Eastridge 15 theater. The image quality and surround sound are perfect.
Pros nice nipples, nice boobs, funny
Cons zombies, not scary

It started off with so much sexual sceens I didn’t like and it took to long to get to the scary parts which really werent scary as stated in the previews on tv.

This is the second satire on on 80's kids-get-slaughtered-in-the-woods horror movies that I've seen the year, the first being "Tucker & Dale vs. Evil," which I also recommend. The acting is good, especially Fran Kranz. Like "Tucker & Dale" and "Scream," the screenplay for "The Cabin in the Woods" offers many gems for viewers familiar with horror movie tropes, but with more subtlety.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

CABIN IN THE WOODS- fun, entertaining movie. Didn't predict where that one would go. Enjoyed the Buffy and Angel cameos and the horror movie references.

This movie was great. Edgy, scary, and some good humor. A nice throw back to some of the campier horror movies of the 1980s, but not as much of a waste of time as some of those may be. Great dialogue and just very, very entertaining.
