If you wanted to see Dwayne Johnson wearing fairy wings and collecting teeth, this is the movie for you. The movie had some cute moments, Between Dwayne's interactions with Tracy, his case worker to the stern and motherly head Tooth Fairy, Julie Andrews. There were some cute bits that stood out, Billy Crystal always gets laughs, especially when he plays old men. There's a cute bit while the end credits are rolling.. make sure you don't leave until you see it. Older people who've seen Julie's works when they were young will get it.. oh and more Billy goofiness.

It's not going to win any academy awards or anything but the movie is a lot of fun & is perfectly tailored to kids aged 4-10. The acting was ok & I think that the jokes were just right for the kids & I laughed A lot as well (I'm 46). It's always great to see Julie Andrews in anything. She just adds class to whatever she participates in & it was good to see Billy Crystal back on the big screen even if it was just an extended cameo. Dwayne Johnson has got the kid movie chops as well. But I would like to see him in a another action film like "The Rundown" or something like that. He has a very likable personality & I've got a funny feeling he's playing himself in the movies he's been making lately. Good movie, good fun, take the kids!

I took my 8 year old, hockey playin' daughter and she loved it. I really enjoyed it too. I found myself laughing and even wanting to cry a couple of times! Dwayne Johnson quickly became one of my favorite actors when he left wrestling, and hasn't disappointed me yet. The rest of the cast was amazing! Billy Crystal was hysterical and Julie Andrews was perfect.

Brought my son and two other friends (9 year olds) They laughed a lot and so did I. Dwayne Johnson has done a great job transitioning to a movie actor and is perfect for these rolls. My two daughters and I saw this movie yesterday. This movie was great. After all Julie Andrews also co-start in the movie and she is wonderful.
I wish there were more movies that were along these lines. It is a wonderful family movie that everyone was able to enjoy, regardless of the age.
When we left, my 8 year old daughter asked if we could go purchase the movie at the store so we could watch it again.

While this is a predictable family movie, it was very enjoyable for our 3 boys ages 12, 10 and 5 who sat through the entire time. Mom loved it as she couldn't get enough of seeing The Rock, and I (Dad) enjoyed Billy Crystal's humor and the theme of the movie in general. A good way to spend a couple of hours with your kids.

Yes - this is a "clean comedy" built around the premise of an adult pro hockey player that is over-loaded with cynicism meeting up with a sweet gal with 2 cute kids who are all "in need" of a male figure to be a hubby & dad. Hmmmm .... how do we fix his weak points & make him a perfect fix for the kiddies & mommy? Aha! We invent a real tooth fairy land where lessons in humility, ego & dreams can be learned. This is where the movie begins feeling like a slow root canal procedure. Ouch! One sees everything coming. There are 2 funny bits in the film - both have Billy Crystal in them. Trouble is that Crystal is only on screen for about 10 minutes the entire movie. More Billy, less hockey ....might have made the difference.

i (dad)loved it , it was sweet and the rock did a nice job - like the dady day care role. sean (age14)said - better than expected. judy (mom)said - i was prepared to hate it but this was my kind of movie. gabrielle (age 6) said the most intelegent thing "i like the one with the blanket better" - Imagine that (eddy murphy) and you know she was right - same formula, but better 6 yr old perspective. This one was about a mean guy who learns to be nice, it took time for her to process this. Imagine that was about misplaced and unbalanced attachment- the kid was attached to the balnket and the dad to his job. she got that. eddy murphy was all slapstick too , the rock was great in his role but not silly like eddy.

Took hubby & kids age 9 & 4. We all loved this movie. Who would have guessed that this big lug of a man could have such a family friendly side. This is not the first family movie's done - I've liked them all! This one is really cute. Got a bit concerned at the outset when they imply that the Tooth Fairy may not be real, but kid's made it through still believing! Nice moral about following your dreams - but dreams required hard work. Oh, and T\racy the angle is an awkward pleasant character to watch. Not as dumb as he looks.

I took 6 twelve year old girls to see this movie for my daughters birthday, and we all had a great time. I was hesitant at first, being that I have to watch Disney Channel, etc nonstop most the time, but the cast came through. It still is more of a kids movie, but you have to remember what kind of movie you are going to see. A bit cheesy at times for an ADULT..but I laughed more times than I have at an adult comedy. I thought there were some odd inconsistancies in the plot but then its hard to find a well written movie anymore. The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) can be pretty funny when he is not over-acting. What is it with fairies and british accents? Is the story trying to say something?

I took four 11 yr. old girls to see it last night. They loved it!!! They giggled through the entire movie!!!! I would recommend this movie to families.

This was the funniest movie that I have seen in a long time and it had a good story. I am not one to watch movies a second time but I could see this one over and over. Too, too funny.

We thought it was funny too! I think the critics have been a little hard on this movie...we found it entertaining as a family with kids ranging from 3 to 8 and as adults we were entertained too!
