This movie starts out rather formulaic; overbearing jock, out of touch with the real world, etc. Halfway through, he realizes that life without dreams is just going through the motions. The best thing I (and my 9-yr-old daughter) came away with is that life is much better with a little "What if...?" mixed in.

Overall charming, good for parents and for kids over 6 yearsold, which is not always the case. Good redeeming message not to be a "dream killer". Not sure I would take a 6 year old to watch hockey players smash people through plate glass. Several good character interactions at the kid and adult level. My 10 year old loved it.

Took my grandson to see this. Wasn't sure if I'd like it, but it was really a fun movie. Lots of laughs...worth it to see the Rock sporting wings! Julie Andrews was perfect as the Fairy Godmother, Billy Crystal was a hoot. Ashley Judd was restrained but beautiful as the mom, and there were plenty of hilarious moments. A great family movie!

I took my 13 and 9 year old kids to see this movie. It was hilarious! I loved it. The 13 year old didn't really want to see it, but he liked it too. Funny, wholesome, family movie. The rock sure is secure in his manhood!! Great movie for kids. My 7 and 12 yr old grand daughters loved it. Definately one for our DVD collection!

I took my 7 year old son with his bestfriend to see it. Would yall believe they "SUSHED ME". I couldn't stop laughing. This is a GREAT family movie for all ages. I intend to see it again and buy the movie when it comes out.
