I had no idea this movie was going to be so shocking! There were some really funny laugh out loud parts. But definitely more, "OH MY GOD!!!" parts. A lot of people walked out of this movie. Yes the movie had it's moments, but after awhile, it just became dull. The swingers scene was probably the worst because anyone can basically just go to any adult site to see the uncensored stuff.
As for the ratings, that's really bogus. I can't believe the ratings people let this movie slide with an "R" rating.

I went in to this movie with pretty high expectations and it did not disappoint! Like all Ali G/ Borat/ Bruno interviews and skits, it had some really low-brow/obvious stuff and some high-brow stuff that you had to kind of think about. I don’t know who wouldn’t find this movie funny, it had something for everyone. I gave this movie 5 stars because I haven’t laughed so hard in a movie in years and that’s what it’s all about. It was worth every penny. I would recommend this to anybody with a sense of humor who isn’t hom0phobic and can laugh at hom0sexual humor.

The R rating for Bruno is richly deserved for all of the different shots of wide ranging bedroom scenes and man-to-man making out. Nonetheless, the heterosexual couples in my audience thought it was all hilarious, even though they seemed as shocked about the fight club scene as were the rowdy crowd shown in the film. Although some portions were too explicit and too graphic for my tastes, overall, this movie is a comic masterpiece. As a follow-on to his earlier movie, Borat, Sasha has created a new genre of comedy. This is a highly entertaining vehicle for revealing the ignorance, intolerance and in some instances utter stupidity of some of our fellow humans. It is hilariously funny in parts. My favorites are the scene with the Terrorist and with the mother who will just about do anything to get her baby daughter a modeling gig.

I have seen this before; it was called Borat. Substitute a naive slightly backward estern bloc reporter with an extremely flamboyant Austrian who is obsessed with becoming a celebrity and you have Bruno. Bruno attempts, like it's predecessor Borat, to satirically illustrate the often vapid and backward American culture, but this time, Sacha Baron Cohen's Bruno come's off as a tired stereotype picking on the same people that America laughed at in his last movie. The only highlight to this movie is that it exposes the extent to which some people will go to become famous and the emptiness of our celebrity fixation.

SBC is fearless! I have so much respect for "the balls" on this guy. and if you don’t miss them due to “laughter asphyxiation” or involuntary “laugh crunches” you may see them too. I didn’t think he could top Borat, but he did! I have to chuckle when I read the reviews on this website that say “I loved Borat but he went too far this time…” Incase you need some help identifying them these “persons” are SBC’s victim pool! I can't remember when I laughed so hard at a movie. Frequently I laughed until it hurt. Yes some of it was very crude humor, but still funny as it gets. Judging from the reviews posted here, you get an idea of peoples comfort levels with their own body. Seems like it's ok to go see slasher/horror movies where lots of people are killed and that are full of blood and violence. But movies that are crude and deal with basic desires; lots of people think it's gross and disturbing. Talk about closed minds. It was a movie for heaven’s sake. Test your own comfort levels, go see this movie. You will laugh till it hurts if you go. Its lots of fun.

If you had watched the previews before you went and viewed the movie, then you would know exactly what to expect. This movie had some really funny parts, but it didn't surprise me. There were some scenes that were made to shock, but after watching Borat, there wasn't really anything new in this movie.

Once again Sacha Baron Cohen hits another home run with the last of his 3 characters from his television show. Anyone who was offended by this movie has obviously never seen his show or watched many previews for this movie. Sacha Baron Cohen is known for his crude, vulgar, offensive, and over the top humor and Bruno was no exception. His humor isnt for everyone but if you an immature 25 male like I am youll love it!

this movie was hilarious. it made fun of hollywood in the best way and pointed out just how superficial it is. if you get offended by the nudity, it specifically tells you in the rating that there is "graphic nudity" so be smart and don't go see it. all in all i found myself laughing non-stop. i wouldn't say it is better than borat, but it is right up there on the same level.
