Meryl Streep is gorgeous in this movie! Take 10 steps back all you young starletts! You have nothing on her. And Alec Baldwin? What can I say but I am now a bone fide fan of the man!! Quick wit and incredible deliver on his part, and Streeps depth and amazing ability to be as funny as she can be serious made this movie truly brilliant! Add the supporting cast and you have a must see. You'll walk out of the theatre with a smile on your face. And for all women out there over 40: rise and keep Streep's character in mind. We are all beautiful, smart, sexy and so worth everything life has to offer!! Amazing how a silly movie can slap you in the face with a reality like that! But It's Complicated...................... did!

Loved it! Funny - lol, men, women, all adult ages -- everyone seemed to be so entertained and having such a great time at the movies. It was a GREAT date night! Sometimes, it is hard picking a movie that is great for both men and women -- this is it! The main characters were beautiful and full of life and love no matter what their age. It was wonderful! We thought this movie was hysterical...Meryl Streep can play opposite anyone and is so believable. I laughed through almost the whole movie. I even saw my boyfriend snicker here and there when he thought I wasn't looking (he was dragged kicking and scratching to see it....) Mostly a chick flick which I love and I am not an Alec Baldwin fan but I thought he was great in this. Almost felt sorry for him. Steve Martin was funnier in this movie since he toned it down a few notches which made him a very lovable character. And the pot scenes were hilarious!!! The 3 people that didn't laugh in the theater were the 3 men that were obviously dragged there, including my boyfriend. I would see it again with my girlfriends.

Although I really was looking forward to seeing this chickflick with some girlfriends, I found the movie to be a rehash of lots of other ones I've recently seen, particularly with Meryl Streep in them>>>Meryl Streep dancing (Mama Mia), Meryl Streep cooking (Julie and Julia). I must start with this genre of film is not my style, but being my wife's birthday it was her choice. That being said, I was very pleasantly surprised! This movie has some hysterical moments and is very well acted. Streep is her usual solid self, but Baldwin and Martin do not let her steal the show! The supporting cast is very solid and you believe the emotion that they are showing. This movie is fun to watch and I would highly recommend it!

The movie was good. It was heart touching on both sides , men and women. Of course there is man bashing, but that's life. Meryl did a really good job of playing the well adjusted woman of divorce. The movie shamelessly pushes what it assumes are the buttons of female divorcees everywhere- the daydream that their ex will one day 'wake up' and realize he's made a mistake- allowing her to wallow in self-satisfaction before eventually turning him down.

My husband and I loved this movie - funny, funny, funny. Great ensemble, beautiful locations (I want to move into that Santa Barbara bungalow!), good writing & directing. Very funny movie. For those that have been through a divorce (with or without kids), there are so many things in this movie that you will be able to relate to. Spent most of the movie laughing, giggling, and just plain rolling! There were a few slow parts, but it was needed to be able to catch your breath.

Very funny movie with very realistic personas and actions. This movie made me laugh from the beginning to the end. I missed a few of the funny parts because of the audience laughter. The scenes were typical of what goes on in todays world, nothing far fetched or impossible. I think it is a true comedy for adults and the more you have experienced in life, the funnier it will be!

The path of true love never did run smooth, and neither does divorce and moving on. Boomers especially will relate, but the issues ring true for most generations. Streep and Baldwin are great, and John Krasinski as the son-in-law-to-be is hillarious!
