Excellent movie! My husband and I both enjoyed it very much. It's the funniest movie that we have seen in a long time. The cast and the chemistry between all of them was excellent. We are glad that movie makers are making realistic movies about older people who no longer look perfect, but still enjoy life. We both want to see it again and will buy the DVD.

Meryl Streep, Steve Martin, and Alec Baldwin, reinact a real situation that may have occured in many extended families. The plot is realistic. Alec Baldwin, realizes too late what he might have had. Steve Martin, plays the tender newly divorced man who is truly scared of being hurt again. Meryl is awesome as the 'other woman' this time around. Laughs are constant throughout the film. Go see it!

My parents got divorced after 30 years, and this movie closely shadowed what my mom went through. We laughed the whole way through and were in tears from laughing. The end made both of us cry. Whoever wrote this movie lived through something like it or is close to someone who has.

Went with my husband Christmas Day to see this movie. I heard it was pretty funny and it was HYSTERICAL...The only other movie i ever laughed this hard at was The Hangover. Great date movie this was. Great writing, acting and directing. Alec Baldwin's facial expressions were very convincing of his character's feelings toward Meryl Streep's character. It appears the cast and crew enjoyed making this movie almost as much as I enjoyed watching it. I bet there were some interesting out takes.

Laugh-out loud and clever movie. So refreshing that it didn't follow the typcial formula. Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin were fantastic. However Steve Martin was annoyingly miscast for his role, which was too neutral, quiet, with any personality completly extinguished. It bothered me the entire movie - he didn't fit in (as much as I respect him as an actor)! Unexpectedly, John Krasinski stole the scene several times - he was outstanding!

This movie was not quite as much as I hoped it to be given reviews. I was pleased with it, however not wowed as it had been suggested to me that I would. The story line was different and clever, but the back and forth got old (no pun intended) after awhile. Meryl Streep was fabulous, per usual, while Alec Baldwin needs to cut down on the spray tanning.

Some amusing bits, but overall the movie is longwinded and much of the dialog is hard to swallow. Mostly, I didn't care much for the cast of upper-middle-class characters--annoying twits mostly concerned about perfect croissants and the like. Meryl and Baldwin kept me rocking in my seat laughing. Loved It. Loved it. 35+ this movie is a best choice.
I enjoyed Baldwin's character on many levels. Masculine yet gentle. No one could have pulled off that character except Baldwin, he is the only one "manly" enough to make exposing his feelings work on so many levels - sincerity, humor, vulnerable, etc.
Meryl was supurb. Feminine lovliness. Brings "sexy" and "desireable" back to 45+. Thank you!
Wardrobe deserves an award. Gave Meryl great style.

This is a fun movie to sit through! Alec Baldwin is hilarious and Meryl Streep hits another one out of the park. What you don't expect is to see so many others, for the most part unknown actors, be on cue for what turns out to be great all- around performances. One caveat, this movie is geared towards a middle-aged audience and those under 30 will probably miss some of the references and jokes. Nevertheless, it's very well executed..

I really liked this movie. All of the actors were great but I think John Krasinski stole each of the scenes he appeared in... they only thing that kept it from 5 stars was that you saw so many of the funny scenes in the previews. Wish they had not updated the trailers to include Alec laying on the bed. That would have been funnier to see as part of the movie. I would definitely recommend this movie.

Great movie about the evolution of what has become today's family but with a twist. Nancy Myers has done it again!!! Yes, predicatble...but funny, bordering on hysterical at times. Streep is Queen!!! Baldwin GREAT in a self-absorbed, 30 Rockish kindaway. Krasinski steals the scenes and the laughs!!! GO see this great movie!!!!

I so enjoyed this movie..I laughed, cried and felt engaged by each character. Everyone did a superb job in acting ....my husband and I were engrossed in the story line, which is about a lot of modern day divorced couples with kids and the aftermath for everyone of all the emotions and unfinished business that still exists even though supposedly the relationship is over...it's never over...this movie helps you to see that through laughter, taking responsibility for one' s own stuff, forgiveness & love that this is how true healing begins. I'd highly recommend this movie to everyone as a can't miss film.....you'll take something away from it and feel really good in the process!!

We went to the earliest show at the theater. Sat on the front row and laughed as hard there as if we were in the best seats in the house. Meryl Streep's "future" son-in-law almost stole the show, but everyone seemed to enjoy making the movie and it showed. You'll definitely be glad you went to see, "It's Complicated."
