I loved it. So good to see a fabulous cast together (Streep, Martin, Baldwin) - they blended beautifully. And so good to see an adult comedy - loved the story line. I am so sick of movies revolving around people under 40 or blood and guts. Thoroughly enjoyable, full of hearty laughs and visually easy on the eyes. Streep at her best. Martin quietly funny (not his usual zany person), and Baldwin great at being lecherous. Krasinski was adorable.

Maybe it was because of my age, but this film absolutely hit home with me. I have not laughed out loud at a movie in a long time. Great acting performances by Streep, Baldwin and even Martin.
The future son-in-law character was a riot!

Very very funny with poignant notes of truth--the best kind of laughter. Streep, Baldwin, Martin and Krazinski are just delicious in their roles. Nancy Meyers rocks. I'm thinking there is Academy Award somewhere here (even tho comedies don 't often win much of anything).

John Krasinski's character was hilarious! I laughed out loud many times during this movie, even though as a divorced woman I had a hard time believing anyone would have an affair with their ex after 10 years (not a spoiler - it's in the previews). The actors made the premise work, however, and overall the whole movie was great.

Excellent. Meryl Streep isn't the only gem in this one. All casting was excellent but the real star of this is the writer. Story is extremely well written. Dialog, with these actors, is on the money. Pacing and follow through with the story is smooth and complete. Makes you fell like this is really happening to these characters.

This was one of the greatest movies that i have seen that was true to life. This was the best that i saw in 2009. I really loved the movie because it was a true to life situation that is happening in every day life. Great, great, movie! I saw 3 during Christmas weekend - I never did that before, but there were various people who wanted to see different things and I got roped into them all - this one was good!

There were no surprises which was actually nice for a change. I could never say anything bad about Alec and Meryl. They were so fun to watch together and had great chemistry. I was surprised how good of a movie it was.

To read some reviews you'd expect this would be a disappointment. Another reason to jettison movie critics! Laughed out loud with the rest of the theater. Streep's acting range is truly extraordinary. Baldwin and Martin were just right and every son-in-law will relate to John Krasinski..

I am a diehard Meryl Streep fan and "It's Complicated" did not disappoint me at all. I fell in love with her way back when she played Mary Fisher in "She Devil" & Madeline Ashton in "Death Becomes Her". Her comic genius has not slowed down a bit, and she NEVER ceases to amaze me. The chemistry her and Alec Baldwin had in this film was perfectly matched and he was as equally brilliant and just charming! I mean they were so natural it was almost like watching a reality show. Absolute genius! I hate giving away scenes from the movie, but gosh the party scene was HILARIOUS! You'll love it, trust me!

With this cast and a kinda interesting plot line, I truly thought there would be more to this flick...it there is a cliche out there that wasn't tossed into the mix...well...it just isn't out there. OK acting, but come on...old folks smoking pot and getting the giggles and munchies?? The tell all speach to the kids?? Sorry, but it's been done before and done better. Meryl Streep needs some time off...here characters are beginning to blend...
