This movie kept a consistent flow of comedy throughout. The characters keep things moving with no down time to catch a breather. I would have liked Steve Martin's comedic talent to come out more. It seemed as though he was struggling to "keep it in." I kept waiting for him to let loose, but it never happened. Overall, an excellent and hilarious movie.

My husband and I really enjoyed the movie. Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin have great chemistry and they are such a pleasure to watch. Yes, the movie has several corny bits, but I haven't laughed or cried that hard at a movie in a LONG time. Just a fun, emotional, well-acted movie to see when you don't want to see something too "complicated."

We really enjoyed this movie. We have not laughed so hard in months. Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin were terrific, as always. It was nice to see Steve Martin do a serious role. And John Krasinski was an added bonus. Nancy Meyers proves that you can make good movies without special effects, vampires, car chases or violence.

It's Complicated was smart, clever and sassy! Just the antidote for this holiday time of year. With so much hype and so many commercials for this movie I was not expecting a lot. However, I was surprised at how funny it really was. Alec Baldwin was hystercial and John Krasinki was a scene stealer. This movie had my husband and I laughing the whole time. The comedy between the three characters was perfectly timed and effortless. Alec Baldwin really gave a great performance. I laughed more than I have laughed in a long time. Meryl Streep is the best, and how wonderful and refreshing to see a real "natural beauty" (so tired of the fake enhanced faces of other actresses). She never lets her audience down. Alec Baldwin has been given some of the best lines, real "zingers". Steve Martin plays a charming straight man. I hope that John Krazinski gets nominated for best supporting actor, his character adds so much to the movie.

I expected so much more after all the hype and trailers. Streep was good, Baldwin was excellent, Martin was good, Krasininski was WONDERFUL and the rest of the kids were "blah". There were some very good lines and some very funny parts. All in all, I have to agree with one of the previous reviews....would love to see this as a European make over. My recommendation: wait for this on DVD and see it at home.

A cute, clever and pleasant Hollywood entertainment. I'd rather see this than any 10 explosion films but, at the risk of sounding snobby, I'd rather see a foreign remake of it, which is to say a version that rings more emotionally true - despite being a fan of this film's stars who are all good here. There are a few good laughs but the audience was hysterical over every predictable detail. Bottom line - like the gourmet snacks being wolfed down throughout the film, this is an enjoyable comfort food film. Watch too many like it though and you'll wind up with Alec Baldwin's physique.

This is a chick flick for heavily-medicated 60-yr-olds. Everything about it is contrived and false, cliche and trite. Rent Jennifer's Body instead - even that has more true human emotion than this piece of amateur junk. Engaging, funny and well acted. Meryl, Steve and Alec are wonderful. John Krasinski steals the show as the son-in-law. Must see for all ages.

My wife and I had a great time at this movie. The acting by Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin, and Steve Martin are great. Good supporting role played by that guy from the TV show "The Office" The timing was impeccable, the character development great, and the believability of the relationships was good. If you are a mature adult - 30- 90, you would enjoy this movie and its comments upon love, relationships, rekindling old flames, and just enjoying being in love with who you are.

What a funny movie. Meryl, Alec , and Steve were Fantastic. great supporting cast.. I had many heart felt laughs.
