this movie was actually really funny and zac effron was actualy good i didnt like him i hated the high school musical movies but after seeing this movie i think he's an excellent actor go see the movie this is one of the best movies i've seen that are age changing movies way better than freaky friday

I didn’t expect ’17 Again’ to be very good, but I was wrong. The story’s been done many times before, and I’ve been turned-off by Zac Efron’s previous hype, but this modern version of ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’ was very well done. It was funny and touching, and Zac’s acting was so convincing that I felt that I was watching a forty-year-old soul in a 17 (or 21) year-old body. Definitely worth the price of admission, especially if you're old enough to have been in Mike O'Donnell (Matthew Perry)'s shoes.

Zac Efron did a great job carrying the movie. Even though the movie has been done several times before this had it's own spins and twists and it definitely was fresh and fun. Go see it for great entertainment.

I took my 14 yr old daughter to see this...thought I'd probably get the opportunity for a nap but I watched the entire movie. It was much better than I anticipated. Would like to have seen Matthew Perry a little more but overall, it was a good Sunday afternoon escape.

I saw this movie once with a group of friends and once with my other siblings. I went into it expecting HSM or a twilight kind of thing with an actor that was easy on the eyes but not such a great actor. Zac Efron was natural and had great comedic timing. His emotions were sincere and I really believed him. And the plot!! I was amazed at how developed it was. Usually these kinds of movies leave much to the imagination, but this one had a very engaging storyline that was fun and enjoyable. I almost shed tears in one scene that Zac was in because the story was so believable at you felt the character's struggle. I would recommend this film to the teenage crowd that wants a decent movie in a time of half-made films

It is rare that i can find a movie to take my teenager daughter too that doesn't involve nasty humor or cheap shots at minorities. I am happy to say that this movie was one of the best ones that have come along in quite a while. Zac Efron is surprisngly a great actor with great comedic timing. There was not enough of Matthew Perry, who I always enjoy, but I guess then the point of the movie would be lost. It was very funny and very touching. I can't wait to make my husband watch it now. He will love the Star Wars and Lord of the Rings references...very cute, funny, and relevant movie!

I have never seen more than a few seconds of any of the HSM movies, and as I am not a 13 year old girl, I had very little wish to see Zac Efron in anything. Ever. So, I went into this movie with very low expectations to say the least.
Well, I was pleasantly surprised. This was a funny, smart, unpretentious little movie that made me laugh out loud on more than one occasion. The always solid Leslie Mann was great, and Thomas Lennon was perfect, but this movie depended entirely on Zac carrying the movie. And he did well.
The direction was solid, the writing was smart and took a middle aged look at High School while still treating it with respect. I definitely recommend, and I'm glad I saw it.

Unusual combination in a movie: sophisticated, funny and kind. Zac Efron did a good job conveying his feelings. The side kick performances of his best friend and the school principal added to the comedy's upbeat tempo. The final scene pulled the movie together for a satisfying ending. I was prepared not to like this movie and was only going to watch it for lack of a better choice. I felt the story line had been done many times before and I haven't previously been too impressed with Zac Efron. But I have to say this was a very enjoyable movie. The acting was excellent and I have a whole new respect for Zac Efron's acting abilities. Some parts of the movie made me laugh, and other parts brought tears to my eyes. After watching the movie I did something I've never done before. I went back out to the ticket counter, bought another ticket and watched it all over again! It was that entertaining!

I loved this movie! Zac Effron and Mathew Perry did a great job pertraying their character as young and adult. I would love to see this movie again and have already been advising friends to see it. I remember seeing the original movie as well as remakes in the past. This is by far the best remake.

We liked the movie because it had a good story line and didn't seem to get boring. It may remind you of what high school was like as well? Includes underage drinking and definitely s. material discussed in high school. 12 year old liked it ~ found parts of it funny. The adults ... found a slight connection in the corporate world too.
Consider paying full price for just a nice movie to see :-)

This was somewhat of a surprise to my wife and I, since we though it would be just another comedy of adolescence, but it's so much more!
Although not a "G" film, the language is appropriate for the message the characters are imparting, that of how decisions affect more than just the person making them, and how it feels like to be a teenager. But everything is scripted and acted very well, with beautiful comedic timing! Even though this film deals with many serious things, it is very poignant and funny, thanks to a great cast!
The best recommendation that we can give is that we will buy the film the first day it is released to the public!
