I took my Grandchildren to see thie movie and they absolutely loved it. I'd say the best review comes from them. "Grandma-that was so funny, thank you for taking us." They continued to discuss various scenes in the car ride home. Then went through it all again with their parents once they got home. My grandchildren are a 7 year old girl and 4 year old boy. They love anything musical; especially when dancing is involved.

We all enjoyed the movie. My son 6 and Daughter 8 loved it. I liked the fact that is showed that siblings should stick together and look out for each other. The music was good and the story was right on. However "you spin my head right round" really shouldn't have been in there. I guess they have to keep it entertaining for some parents. All in all a good flick. We plan on buying it when it comes out on DVD

My 8 year old daughter loved the movie which had a great story about loyalty and being trustworthy. They should have tuned down the chipettes some. It didn't need all the tail waging and imitating Beyonce. This was inappropriate for the target age group.

I am a long time Chipmunks fan and thought this movie was appropriate for my 8 year old daughter except for some of the Chimpette parts. It told a good story about being reliable, honest, and trustworthy. Kids need to see more of that kind of story. They don't need to see more of the "tail-wagging girl singers" portrayed by the Chimpettes. You don't have to shake it to sing it.

Great movie lots of simple funny incidents with a moral, put other before you. We need a real life Litter monitor. The Chimpettes were okay, they could tone down a bit. Tobester's confidence in the last scene was one of the highlights apart from the kids competeing for the $25,000 prize.The eagel scene at the zoo was totally unnecessary. AMC14 was clean and the staff curteous.
