My boys really liked it, as did we (the parents), but Ian got a bit wacko and we weren't feeling that at all. Overall though it was really good, and I fear my rating is a four more so because of the theater.

this movie has a very]high cuteness level to it. while not my choice i found my wife and kids in attendance really liked this movie. the introduction of the chippettes in this story was great for the plot. also the interaction between the chipmunks and chippettes was just to cute!i even cracked a smile here and there.

My husband and I took our children to see it and they both loved it! We have a 2 year old girl and 6 year old boy. It was the 2 year old's first time at the movies. I even laughed at the parts that were in reference to other songs and movies. Cute movie for the whole family to see.

I took my 6 and 8 year old, the 6 year old girl had seen it before and loved it the second time as well, the 8 yr old boy enjoyed it as well. I wouldn't have seen it without kids, but it was fast moving, cute music, a little action, and comedy sprinkled throughout.

I am a senior citizen and I see a lot of movies including cartoons - animated ones. This one was good for the children (2 grandchildren 12 and 10) but was not the best for adults. I found it to be dulls in places and only a few scenes that were cute and funny - sorry in my book it fails as an all around super animated movie.

OK -- this isn't a great movie, but it is entertaining. Jason Lee must've asked to shoot his scenes in under a week. Zachary Levi is the best part of the movie -- unless you really love Chipmunk music Anjelah Johnson is going to be a big star this year. Most obvious product placements: Woot.com and Wii. Nascar fans got a cameo from Digger the gopher cam mascot? What's up with that?
There's enough interest and enough stories to tell for another. If they wait a little longer I probably won't have to see it, tho.

We went on New Years day with our kids. It was cute, the kids laughed and laughed. Could have played up story line a bit. Great overall family movie. Would recommend.
