We were sad that dave was only in about 10 minutes of the film. There were a couple of funny parts, but the story was boring and everyone (ages 6, 5, 3) were squirmy throughout the movie.....We were all sad because we had been waiting so long to see it. Real let down

took my kids, ages 8, 6, & 4, to see it along with grandma. we laughed and the kids really enjoyed it. as always it has adult humor that the kids don't understand but overall it was pretty good. loved how it incorporated the peer pressures of school but the unity of family. the songs were great!! can't wait to add it to our collection once it hits dvd.

I am a mother of two boys and we all thoroughly enjoyed The Squeakquel! I was super pleased with it! We were hooked to always watching the first Alvin and the Chipmunks, and now we're going to be hooked to this one! Definately bring your kids to see it!

The first movie was much funnier, and better entertainment for children. The setting is in a high school, and it's not believable that the chipmunks are teens. There are disturbing bullying scenes that are not appropriate for young children -- things like a boy getting his head pushed in a toilet -- the same thing happens to Simon. Another theme is people getting hurt; one a grandmother in a wheelchair who falls down a flight of stairs. The chartacter who ran "Jett Records" in this movie is more evil. Not entertaining for children who just want to see chipmunks sing. On that note, when the chipmunks do perform, they are adorable, and save the movie from itself.

I took my daughter for her 7th b/day and she fidgeted the whole time and only laughed when we laughed as she did not get the "Adult" humor she did like the Beyonce song, but other than that this one is better seen at the Dollar theater or free when it comes on TV like On Demand, we should have gone to see the Princess and the Frog for the money, very disappointed as we grew up with the Original chipmunks and the best part was all the previews as that was pretty much the movies

This movie was the first for my 4 year old daughter. It kept her attention the entire time. This is a great movie for young children. It will feel like it is going slow at the beginning for adults, but it quickly ties everything together. I would see it again when it comes out on video.

This was the first movie I had been to the theatre to see in a long time and took my 3 grandsons and we just loved it......loved the theme....loved the music. We just had a wonderful time!

My boys loved it. They are 10 and 7 years old. They thought it was very funny. My husband rolled his eyes about it being a good movie, but a great KIDS movie!
