"This movie was a big disappointment. It was not nearly as funny as the first one. The acting was not as good either. Jason Lee did not have enough screen time. Plus my daughter and I sat next to a young couple with a crying baby, a toddler and an older child! We finally got up and moved to the floor!"

"I took my 5 year old daughter for her last day of winter break. The movie was very cute and not too long. The animation was great and made the chipmunks seems real. The only thing I would say is that the movie theatre plays movies for kids WAY too loud. We would definitely buy this movie on DVD."

About 8 Inches Worth of Fun

"I believe it was stated in the movie that the chipmunks were 8" in height; that's about all the value of fun you will get from this predictable, annoying, sloppy and confusing picture. How are all these disconnected people related again? The acting was very poor, the live characters unbelievable and the plot (what little that existed) was very predictable. If you are a die-hard chipmunk fan, such as the school principal, then you will look over all of the flaws to adore your annoying furry shrieking singing rodents.
I suppose the real test that this movie failed was that my 5 year old daughter was bored less than half way through. The little 'timber tigers' could not keep her attention and quire frankly were... annoying."

"Took 2 of my grandsons yesterday and haven't laughed that hard at a movie in a long time. I'm a sci-fi, action, adventure movie lover so I rarely watch comedies. This movie was so fun to watch and I still have the songs in my head. It was interesting to see winners from Randy Jackson's Americas Best Dance Crew as the first act in the singing competition. Can't wait for the movie to come out on video. How do they get their voices like that for a whole movie?"
