They did not to the right ending according to the books. But if it has John C. Reilly it is always a good movie, See it it is a hit.

It was a very good movie. This movie is a must if you've read the books. It had a little bit more humor than the books. It's definitely made for its core audience of 10 to 15 yrs old. I would go see it again and I hope they make the planned sequels.

My son reads the books so he was excited to see this movie. It was hard for me to picture John C. Reilly as a vampire, but I thought he pulled it off pretty well. Special effects were really good - very freaky!

This is an excelllent show for anyone who is a fan of vampire books and/or movies of any sort. I personally enjoyed it as did my girlfriend. After seeing this movie we are in agreement that seeing the next one in the series is a definite must.

This movie was not great but entertaining. I liked it as did my husband, it has a different view on freank shows and vampires. We do not judge a movie like the critics do on acting or plots or believeablity, just on whether or not we enjoyed it and we did this one. Usually when the critics do not like something we do, and when they like something it sucks. Go see it.

My daughter (age 9) couldn't wait to see it - I was less optimistic due to reviews. Cast was great, characters were cool for kids in the 9-13 age bracket - just freaky enough to keep them horrified/amazed but nothing too intense. Screenply didn't give enough details for those who don't read the books to follow well, but it was good enough to keep the kids engaged due to the action and those crazy characters. Good movie for a rainy afternoon, better than average.

Really had a great time with this movie, it was great for my daughter who reads all the books. She said they pretty much stuck to the book so she knew what was coming. I loved the way they kept the audience entertained! I look forward to the next one!

Initially I didn't want to see this movie. My son is into the books and wanted to see it. However, after watching it, I was more impressed than I thought I would be. I like many of the characters in there. The pacing was very good. No long boring stretches and no periods that were moving so fast you couldn't keep up with what was going on. The humor was a good balance to everything. Interesting bunch of characters. That my two pennies worth.
