I took my 4 kids to see the movie(ages 3 1/2 to 8) and we really enjoyed it. Our favorite characters were Mama Odie, Tiana, and Ray. It makes you want to plan a trip to New Orleans. Disney did a great job.

My granddaughter, 3 1/2 and I went to the movie. I will admit that the Shadow Man was a little scary but a good excuse to have her sit in my lap for a few minutes. We enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who loves beautiful artwork and good music. I liked the new theme of "you got to work for what you want".

I thought this movie was pretty underwhelming. Decent story line, but not developed enough or developed deeply enough. Took my five year old and ten year old to see it. Five year old thought it was ok; ten year old didn't like it. The voodoo shadow characters are really sinister and creepy. Overall, it was a bit better than average--would have rather waited for a rental. Animation was lovely and good message with having to work hard, but kind of over-stated.

Took my 9 yr old & her 4 yr old friend, both absolutely loved this movie. Very entertaining for both children & adults. Finally a decent family movie for all ages! Go see it for the music & the beautiful animation then go home & plan your vacation to New Orleans. I can taste the gumbo now.....

I thought it was plenty cute and funny, and less cheesy than some of Disney's classic princess tales. However, for "my little princess" she would have preferred for her to be in true adult human form for a longer period, and the villan was pretty scary for her as well as when the bug, Ray, died. She laughed about the prince turning back into the servant when his ear & butt grew, and is talking about it still.

The Princess and the Frog is the best "princess" movie ever made. The animation is gorgeous -- I wanted to freeze some of the frames so that I could gaze at them longer -- and the story is cute. Tiana is a fiesty, empowered young woman for whome being a princess is just a side benefit of finding the man she wants to spend her life with. She is beautiful, but that is not why she gets what she wants -- her prince charming falls in love with her while she is a frog! Fantastic movie!

That's two for me and two for my 6 year old daughter. Loved this twist on the classic fairy tale. DIsney has really outdone themselves with the animation and music and I enjoyed the 1920's New Orleans setting, complete with the richness of culture, food and music that exists there. Some of darke scenes with the Shadow Man and voodoo might be frightening for younger viewers-I'd say keep your toddlers at home for this one.

Good movie. It has to be a little more developed/longer in some parts to make it more interesting. The choreography and music was excellent and it was shown in every details. it's a good classic Disney movie. Enjoyable for everyone.

....Is what I would say about the movie The Princess and the Frog. My 8 yr old grandson was glued to the screen and yes, we've already told his friends what a cute movie it is and how other children would enjoy it. I am surprised how the producers joined the different cultures together. Also, I was very impressed by some of the phrases stated in the movie which are words to be remembered by children for years to come.

This is the first Disney movie I've seen in 10 years that is evenly balanced between cute and suspenseful. Hats off to the newest Disney villain. My little girl is 4 years old and she loved it. I know this movie will be criticized for its scary and sad scenes, but that's what makes the good characters good. I took my two grandchildren. Girls ages 6 and 5. They seem to like it but thought it was too scary and spooky in many scenes. I don't think they fully understood it at their age. I was glad at the end that they didn't seem to understand the sad part and what was really going on.

When my girls and I first saw the previews for this movie we were not sure about it. We decided to go see it on a cloudy day and were thrilled. It is one of my Disney favorites now. I loved the story and my girls laughed out loud at many parts. Bring some kneenex though for the last part.

One of the main reason I loved the movie was dur to changing the aspects of a princess. This is an Aferican American little girl and a Latino Boy. Something new is always good. It like a true story, but yet with a touch of love for the whole family

This was the first movie my 4 yo old daughter has seen in a theater. Unfortunately, the voodoo shadowman was WAY too much for her. She was huddled under my coat hiding from him most of the time. Also, we had an unexpected conversation about death on the way home from the movie as we discussed the demise of Ray. We were hoping for more in the way of Wall-E type suspense versus an evil, sinister villain with scary shadow monsters.
Otherwise, the songs were very catchy, the animation was good, and every once in a while my husband & I had a good chuckle. It was nice to see a princess with a hard work ethic, too. All in all, I'd say it's not the best kid's film I've ever seen, but it was good, and for older kids would probably be a hit.

This was a good movie. I was afraid it would be too much for princesses, but it reminded me a lot of the rescuers. Good movie.

Disney has returned to its original premise of cartoon fairy tales with this movie. The beautiful sets, well-developed characters and catchy songs combined to give a moral lesson for viewers of all ages. After seeing one preview, I was curious about this new "princess" and how the studio would tell her story and was not disappointed. Even my son, who is 20, was as enthralled as any other child in the theater. Go see it! You will love it.
