This movie should be rated PG. The vodoo theme and the "Shadow Man" who is cutting deals with demons and at the end it is implied that he gets killed by the demons and taken down to "h*ll" is not appropriate for young children. Additionally there are a couple of innuendos and references to alchohol, but the vodooo is the main concern. Vodoo should not be in a rated G movie.

Love this movie, Great for alllllllllll kids, If you have children 2 and older they will love this. It is not just the same old love story about a helpless princess in trouble and needs to be rescued but it teaches realistic values, hard work and yes a little faith pays off. Great movie and try to go for the early show to save some money on tickets.

Disney has finally come out with an animated movie true to their roots. I have always loved Disney movies, and this one did not disappoint. It was funny, colorful and sweet. In my theatre, there were people of all ages and everyone was laughing and enjoying the movie. I will be seeing this again!

As a girl who has loved Disney from early childhood, this is a movie I wish I would have had as a child. The magic was nice, but the determination of the main character was even better. I was very impressed at how the story unfolded all the way to the end. Great job on a fantastic movie. I will see it again and again.

The Princess and the Frog was the best disney movie to come out in a very long time. The animation was beautiful, the characters were funny, the plot was well-thought out, and the music was incredible! I'm definitely going to see this again!

This has to be one of the best Disney animations I have seen in a long, long time! It was a great twist to a classic tale. Every single character truly made this a magical story - from the strong, independent, grounded heroine to the jazz playing alligator to our sparkling Raymond. Even our villian, Shadow Man and his opposite Mama Odie. The music was toe tapping - wonderful jazz and blues, reminiscent of true New Orleans. Really, there was so much to like and laugh about, I will without a doubt, be buying this on DVD to watch over and over. Well done, Disney!

I think i enjoyed this movie more than my granddaughter. From start to finish, it kept you intriged with laughter. As an African-American, I was very proud of Tiana seriously and strong character. The music just made you want to pat your feet and clap your hands. All characters were excellent. I just want to go see it again and can't wait for the DVD to add to my classic and wonderful collections.

I have been tentative about this movie coming out because I knew it was going to be the pass or fail for Disney's return to 2-D animation- and I have to say that Disney succeeded beyond my wildest dreams!! GO SEE THIS MOVIE. It has everything that the Golden Age of Disney had in The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King. Anika Noni Rose and Bruno Campos lead this wonderful cast with great humor and passion.

This film was so much fun, from the first moment, it is completely adorable. Tiana is a strong and seriously driven character, though she still manages to be funny and incredibly relatable. Prince Naveen is, in my book, the most charming prince I've ever seen. Even when he's a frog I'm completely in love with him. The Shadow Man's big number: "Friends on the Other Side" could hold it's own against "Be Prepared" in a best villain song competition. Charlotte LaBouef's character is a piece of animating genius. The songs are wonderful, the chemistry is enchanting and I wish I was watching it again right now.

For all of those anti-Disney princess types, Tiana is your girl. She's not helpless and doesn't really need to be rescued. She's got dreams and goals and she will get them one way or another. The music makes you want to tap your feet and the animation is gorgeous. The shadow man and his friends on the other side may scare little ones, but overall this is a solid movie about a girl who just happens to become a princess.

The story, about a hard-working young woman named Tiana (voiced by Anika Noni Rose) who yearns to open her own restaurant, hits all the right notes where it concerns her father (Terence Howard), mother (Oprah Winfrey) and humble lifestyle. When she finds herself puckering up with a cursed prince (Bruno Campos) in the form of a frog, the film becomes standard "road movie" fare.
Having said that, the film's got more heart, irreverent laughs and eye-popping visuals than most of the animated films that have been released in the past five years. When all is said and sung, "The Princess and the Frog" is a respite from the rash of 3-D CG duds that the major studios love so much.

Though it has its cliche moments, in the end Princess and the Frog delivers the kind of movie that we all grew up on; one that sparks the imagination and has you singing its songs in the car all the way home. The movie's strongest point is its cast of characters, who are the most rich and interesting characters in a Disney movie to date.
