Hilarious, while teaching important life lessons is how I would sum up this movie. My husband and I took our 4 daughters, and we all enjoyed the movie tremendously. Tianna is a well grounded, practical, salt of the earth princess. Prince Naveem is a prince who comes to understand that all there is in life is love and family. The firefly in the movie, however, is the real star of the show. He deserves an Oscar. The movie is a bit slow for the first 30 minutes, but after Naveem and Tianna turn into frogs, there is no stopping the movie. It is full of action, hilarity, and life pondering moments. The animation drawings and colors are lush and make you feel like you are really in New Orleans, in the Bayou. Kudos to Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a really fun movie! The scenery was gorgeous. Such a treat to have hand-drawn animation back! Go see it & support this return to classic Disney magic! My 12 year old son & 19 yo daughter both enjoyed it very much. My son, despite the fact it was a "princess" movie was charmed by the comic themes, accents, & adventure. She's not your typical princess, after all :) This film has of course been in production for over 3 years, like all greats from Disney Animation Studios. There is some creepy voodoo villain, but not any scarier (possibly less so) than other villains. Our family is so pleased to have the characters singing their own songs again. Tiana is a beautiful heroine!

My 2 1/2 yr old has been waiting to see this movie since she saw the 1st commercial and neither of us was disappointed!! The new songs were great, upbeat and had my daughter dancing in her seat. I took two 3 year old girls and one 6 year old boy along with my husband, sister and brother-in-law and we all loved it! My 3 yeard old daughter wanted to go back the next day....so we did! Great movie....the story line was wonderful and the voices were phenomenal! The villain is definitely spooky and I could see my daughter stiffen up a bit when he was on the screen but she told me after the movie that "he just needs a hug". She does not get scared very easily so it's hard for me to gauge how scary parts of the movie might be. There is voodoo magic in the movie that may be a bit scary for some young kids.

I took a group of Grl Scouts to see Princess and The Fros in the rain, and it was as if there wasn;t a clound in the sky. There was an anticipatory silence when the movie started that was amazing. A packed room filled with girls in dresses, and girl scout uniforms, and sibling and adults alike. The setting in New Orleans was an unexpected surprise and the diversity of the characters kept them in wonder. Simply going down the Bayou made me feel like going home to make a fresh pot of gumbo. Bravo to Disney!

I took my mom and my two little cousins to see this movie and everyone loved it! The music...the storyline...everything about the movie was great! I can't wait to buy the DVD! I'm going out right now to purchase the doll, the Leapfrog game and the Wii game for my little cousins as Christmas gifts!

My whole family enjoyed the singing and dancing. My four year old danced right out of his seat. This is a Disney classic fairy tale. We can not wait for the home video release. The Princess and the frog is timeless.
