You know I have to say this is Adam Sandler's best film to date. He gives a wonderful performance, and Seth Rogen is also very good. It's a heart felt film, about finding out that you are dying. Only to find out that you're really just starting to live. It's a very funny movie, I laughed the ENTIRE movie!

The all-star cast brings a new generation of comedians together with the veterans! And the cameos are like the icing on the cake. Appearances by the Rza, Eminem, and Sarah Silverman were a riot!!
I laughed a lot at the humor, jokes, and funny situations and characters. Prepare for a liftoff as Sandler and the gang take you on another heart warming and hilarious rocket ride!

I have been looking forward to seeing this movie for quite a while. Unfortunately, it was long, boring, and had few (very few) laughs. Should have been billed as a drama. Would still have been awful, but at least I wouldn't have gone thinking I was going to see something funny.

One of Adam Sandlers best. Easily the best movie of the summer. Overall it was an AWESOME film. Jam packed with great actors. I would love to see it ten more times but the only negative is that it's over 2 hours long and takes it out of you! But worth every minute and worth every cent. Great Film!!! :)

We went with great hopes - wanting to laugh and come out invigorated. Instead we came out depressed, having laughed very little in the movie. The actors tried but the humor and language must belong to a different set of viewers as noone in the movie laughed either. We felt we wasted time on a very long movie.

Adam Sandler returns to bring you more in this summer's biggest comedy, directed by Judd Apatow, 'Funny People' is just flat-out hilarious! Although some comedy films have to have crude humor, 'Funny People' does well in the scenes without it. I just wish there was less crude humor and more laughs, yet, this remains a deceit movie.

I went to an early premiere of this movie expecting a humerous romp similar to Judd Apatow's (who I am a huge fan of, by the way) other movies. Heavy humor, light drama. What I got was completely unexpected. Without ruining anything in the plot, I'll just say that the movie was really touching and dramatic. It was definately funny, and I laughed a lot during the screening, but I found myself caring deeply about the characters as well. The situations that they faced had a very real feeling to them, and the acting was brilliant. Overall, I would give the movie 5 out of 5. Funny People was amazing, and I plan to see it again once it comes out in theaters.
