I am glad that they showed this movieon the big screen. There are a few small theaters here and there that may do a classic now and then. I am glad that a larger chain was willing to take a risk and show this, it boosted my personal rating of this movie, and even for the theaters too. I hope there are many more to come. I will be the first in line.

I would just like to say that this reshowing of such a great classic movie was simply phenomenal. When I was waiting in line I was thinking to myself "I have seen this movie about 1000 times and whats going to make this any better?" My thoughts were put to rest when I stepped inside and my friends and I sat down to a social extravaganza. To whomever think that this movie is the same, ITS NOT!! It is in amazing HD and all the actors' appearance and special effects enhancement made this night special. The event was so vivid that every member of the audience must have felt a certain flow of majesty that came with the amazing story line and beautiful recreations that no one can expect from new novel movies anymore. The recreation of the movie in such beautiful coloration presented such an ambiance that made the film seem as if it was brand new. This HD representation could pass off as a new film if shown to an unsuspecting audience
I thoroughly enjoyed the entire event and I shall cherish the complimentary poster as a memento for however long my poster remains untouched by trash. I recommend this to all people of all ages, whether you have never seen the movie or you have re-watched it 100000 times, its such a great feeling seeing such a brilliant film in such an amazing light.

The movie is priceless and I'm so glad that there are other fans out there that came out to make it a shared experience. BTTF is my favorite movie and I saw it about a dozen times in the theater when I was 14. The quality was awesome. I'll probably get the Blue Ray just for better quality.

Being that this is already one of my favorite movies, it was a no-brainer to go see it on the big screen! I saw the 7pm showing on Monday the 25th at Disney's Pleasure Island 24. Seeing the movie in college wasn't the same because they just plugged in the DVD and used a projector which did not use up the entire screen. This, however, was incredible. Perfect picture, perfect sound, even trivia before the movie! Thanks for showing this AMC! I just wish it was showing longer. Great night.

My husband and I love this movie. We constantly quote it back and forth to one another. So being able to see it on the big screen for the first time (hey, we were young when it came out!) was wonderful.
The audience clapped and cheered and many quoted right along with the movie.
The science and time-travel aspect don't seem dated at all. It was excellent quaility and just plain fun. So glad we went.

I have seen BTTF over a dozen times but I had not watched on the big screen since 1985. I had forgotten how magical of a movie it is. The story, the actors, the comic timing, and the music were all awesome. This was a great experience. I am glad I got to share watching this on the big screen with my kids (12 and 16). They loved it.

Went to see BTTF on Saturday 10/23 at the Plymouth Meeting, PA location. When the movie started it was blurry, upside down and larger then the screen. Apparently they were not able to fix the problem and the showing was cancelled. Not a great thing to happen on a movie only showing once in the past 25 years. Needless to say, all of us die hard BTTF fans were disappointed with AMC.

This movie was so amazing when I was a kid and I never saw it in theatres, this was such a great film to see on the big screen and from the reactions from the "FULL" theatre this movie's jokes and action are timeless and still spot on for what a good movie should be. And it is still a great story. Wish is was out longer so I could recommend it to my friends to see.

Back To The Future came out when I was only 6 months old. But I remember watching the tape when I got older. I was able to see part 2 & 3 in the theaters though. However, there is something special about watching the original at the mall they filmed it at. Not to mention the added bonus of having Claudia Wells, (Jennifer) show up to answer questions and sign posters. This movie will be enjoyed and loved by generations to come.

i watch it every time it is on (all 3)...and my 2 daughter's (18 and 26) always come in in the middle and watch it too....we enjoyed a "girls night out" to see the movie from start to finish.....it was great !!!!!

My dad remembered seeing this when it was released back in 1985, seven years later I was born.
When I was 5 he showed me the movie for the first time one night when it was on TV. It was that night that this movie became my favorite movie of all time. As I continued to grow up I always wondered what it must have been like to sit in front of that big screen in a dark theatre as the Delorian hit 88 miles an hour into movie lovers' hearts.
And one of my life long dreams was to be able to find that delorian and travel back in time to see this on a big screen.
And finally last night at 7:30pm I opened the wing door, sat behind the wheel, and turned the time circuits on.
Every moment from the opening credit to the end of the last credit was like a surreal dream to me, I could not believe that this dream I had held onto for 13 years was finally happening.
If anyone asks me what I thought, I simply tell them that epic now has a whole new meaning in my mind. Thank you AMC for helping to make a dream that you did not even know existed come true!

This is the kind of movie you can see over and over. Seeing remastered was great. My family loved seeing this again on the big screen. I know lots of people who would have loved to have the opportunity to see this movie and couldn't. They sold out both shows in our area very quickly. But if it was to play again I wouldn't hestitate to recommend this classic familly film.

I don't remember if I saw this movie on the big screen when it came out, but I have watched the full series many times on TV. The movie was a joy to see on the big screen with an audience. Many details jumped out at me that I hadn't paid attention to on the little screen. My son and I had a totally enjoyable evening at the AMC in Yorktown.

I saw the 25th Anniversary presentation of Back to the Future with friends at the Tysons VA AMC last night. The staff, the audience, and the film were stellar. The film felt as fresh as ever. My wife commented that it could have been released yesterday and the movie would still hold up. I agree. The work that has gone into this new print is excellent, the colors felt vibrant and the image was clean and sharp. This story is classic now and it was a ton of fun seeing it with a modern audience every bit in love with it as I. Excellent movie, excellent experience, excellent evening with friends.

I was 7 when this movie came out & never saw it on the big screen. I've easily seen it 50 times on VHS/DVD and never get tired of it. My son fell in love with the whole trilogy at the age of 3 and used to ask for "Marty & Doc" all the time, he just watched it constantly! I thought it was SO great for AMC to bring this movie back to the big screen for the 25th anniversary. It's just a classic movie and not only did it give some of us from the 'original era' a chance to re-experience it, it provided a platform to carry the tradition of this wonderful movie on to our children as well!
Please bring back more awesome movies like Back to the Future! (Ghostbusters, *ahem*)

I saw "Back to the Future" when it was first released, and again only yesterday. Believe me, few movies hold up over time as well as this one. It is still by turns funny and charming and always just plain fun. The crowd who came for the 25th anniversary showing -- most of them half my age or less -- laughed in all the right places, did not talk back to the screen, and in general treated it like a new release. Picture and sound quality were both excellent, and even those who are too young to even remember Ronald Reagan still got the joke. The movie reminds of how much we have lost with Michael J. Fox's illness, and Christopher Lloyd could give a lesson to almost every TV sitcom actor in how to make shameless overacting actually work. On first release this looked like a pretty good movie. On re-release it looks like a great one.

I felt like I was back in 1985, except I don't know what that was like because I wasn't even born yet in 1985. That's what made this movie so great; I got to see one of my favorite movies of all time in the way it was meant to be seen. I enjoyed every minute of it. And the audience was so responsive and as giddy as I was. This was the highlight of my year!

It was great to see this classic, time-traveling movie again on the big screen, especially since it has been remastered! It brought back my memories of 25 years ago and how things have changed since then. After the movie ended, I was pleased to hear good praises and comments from the younger people in the theater, many of whom were not even born when this movie originally came out. I'm looking forward towards replacing my outdated VHS (Remember those?) BTTF trilogy set in with the new, high definition, Blu-Ray DVDs in the near future.
