The movie was slow in the beginning, but got better toward the end. It did not look futuristic as much. The terminator machines were grabbing humans in a cage, similar to War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise. The movie did not give me a lot of chills and excitement. The actor who played Marcus in Termintor Salvation did a good job, and stole the attention of the screen the most, including Christian Bale. The kid was a mis-cast and did not act like he had a harsh life. It was cool of terminator Marcus to offer his heart to save John Connor. Marcus the Terminator should have had more of a love fling in the movie with that asian woman to make the movie to have more romance. Terminator 2 was better than Terminator Salvation.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I went to an advanced screening and I have to say that I'm hugely disappointed. I felt they relied way to much on CGI for scenes, instead of using practical effects that made the first Two films. I didn't like how the lines from the previous films were thrown around as we have all heard them Hundreds of times before.
The future just didn't feel like the future to me, Bale was okay as John Connor. I think who did make the film though was Marcus Wright's character played by Sam Worthington. In my opinion what will ultimately kill the film is going to be the Pg-13 rating! There were some things I would have liked to have seen that were just not explored. All in all I give the film a 7 out of 10.

Christian Bale and Sam Worthington were superb! WOW! I stared at that screen as the credits rolled down. I went to the movie premiere in Los Angles and it blew me away! The story in this movie was great! There were times where some may be freighted, but it wasn't too scary. At times, the language is frequent, but calms down as the action rises. McG directed this awesome picture which will be a new sci-fi classic. I doubt that any sci-fi film will surpass this one in a long time! The visual fx were mind-blowing, but the movie did not relay on them and it did not mess with the plot. I recommend this movie to all action and science-fiction goers, and, most of all, this movie is for die-hard terminator fans.
