Once again Tim Burton performs magic on the silver screen. I was captivated from start to finish. Not only was the CGI of today up to the task of reflecting both Burton's and Carroll's rich imaginations, but the story line was just as robust, with multiple morals for the watcher to divine. With the efficiency of Netflix I don't buy as many movies as I used to (a current library of 200+). However, every year there are a few movies that I must own. This is one of them.

Wonderful!!! Well done movie of the classic story. I enjoyed seeing this movie with my 8 year old daughter. I was concerned how certain characters would be portrayed, and if the story would be bent toward drug references. I was sooo happy to see the movie was not bent toward drug references, but genuinely and wonderfully capturing the dream experience!!! Johnny Depp is great as the Mad Hatter, and Helena does a great portrayal as the Red Queen. Visually this movie does not disappoint.

Every time we go to a Tim Burton film, my daughter and I expect to be wowed. We were not disappointed with Alice in Wonderland! Tim's vivid adaptation of the Wonderland stories and characters were beautifully creative. We've already decided that this is another film we must buy when the dvd hits stores. Go See It!!!

My son, husband and I loved this movie. I did not remember the story well, (from reading YEARS ago!) but it did not matter, as I'm sure Tim Burton took some liberties. His films have always baffled me in the past, but this one won me over. Of course the special effects were superb. The visual feast of this film has rarely been surpassed.
