Lousy! waste of time, money! The preview was amazing but did not live up to the expectation, felt like it was competing with I-robot! But no where close!

Boasting typical science fiction themes, Surrogates depicts a dystopian society where machines replace man and human relationships are reduced to cyber-contact.
The problem is director Jonathan Mostow and his writers use the science fiction genre as a trap and aren’t able to grow out of it with new ideas. So, we get refurbished concepts from Blade Runner, The Matrix, The 6th Day and pretty much every sci-fi movie made. While the notion holds promise, the execution is strictly campy and adrenaline-driven.

I've never seen such a movie so boring! The plot was okay, confusing at times, the "real" characters were lame and not even believable because of so little air time. This movie had no emotion or hype. whatsoever. Don't let the preview fool you for those are the only parts that were at least a bit exciting. There only like two action scenes and the rest is an investigation that was too rushed from the beginning to care for it. Oh and the pics are a fake also, these are just unimportant random people who weren't even spotted in the movie. Saying this, don't waste your money!

I was so excited about this movie based on the previews I saw. I expected a lot more then I got. Eighty Nine minutes is not long enough to tell the story that was being portrayed. The Artifical Intelligence is really good, there is even a serious car chase/crash that kept me on the edge of my seat for a few seconds, but that is where the excitement ends. Bruce Willis and Radha Mitchell play FBI Agents who are investigating a mysterious murder of a college student. This college student's father is the inventor of the High-Tech "Surrogates". The Surrogate business allows a person to purchase a flawless version of themselves.

I was fortunate enough to watch parts of this movie being made here in Mass. This is by far one of Bruce Willis's finest works. The action and suspense never stops. Just when you think you've got the plot and bad guys figured out it takes a new twist. Mindblowing special effects. I would highly reccomment this movie to Sci-fi/furturistic movie fans.

Electrifying and mind-blowing, smooth and slick.....'Surrogates' is suspenseful and will not stop until it makes an impression. Bruce Willis is outstanding in this sci-fi blowout. Although it is fast-paced and short, you will enjoy this film. You must see this film! Your future depends on it!
