Wasn't sure what to expect. Film had an impressive cast and a good plot. It was good to see Perry make a movie that wasn't all about Madea. Even my husband who is not a big fan of Perry's movies enjoyed this one. A Worthwhile movie to go and see.

I had heard mixed reviews on The Family that Preys so I didn't expect to be too impressed. But I ABSOLUTELY loved it!!!! It made me laugh, cry and think about life issues. AWESOME Movie!!!!

I took my mom and daughter to see this movie for my mom's birthday. All three of us truly enjoyed it. We even had the theatre to ourselves so there were NO distractions. Very good storyline.

To me, this was a regular 7pm or 9pm TV movie for any night of the week. I don't think it's really a theater movie. The plot is the same as a TV movie -- adultry, backstabbing in the midst of a long-term friendship. The acting was excellent, and the established actors really pulled this one off. To me it wasn't a Christian movie, but I'll have to just state for the record that you don't baptize a person who has not accepted Christ--I really wish that baptism wasn't in the movie since the application was incorrect.

The movie was great. The cast members were great together. I loved Kathy Bates character. The friendship between Kathy and Alfre Woodard was so real and genuine. I look forward to Tyler Perry's next movie. It just keeps getting better and better!!!!

Movie was great, I loved the family dynamics that he showed. How the sisters that grew up in the same household have a different perspective and goal for themselves. Cathy and Alfre were definitely standouts in this movie. Excellent cast for this movie.
