I loved this movie....Sanaa Lathan did a great job and I loved the way Tyler paired Kathy Bates and Alfre Woodard someone who review the movie said they didn't have chemistry I thought they did because they were total opposite characters and opposites attract!!

This movie was excellent. The actors were phenomenal. This is the kind of classic movie that must be watched several times to fully grasp the depth and the beauty of the many powerful messages. Very entertaining , funny, and OH So MOVING. I laughed as hard as I cried. This movie calls for a sequel! I would love to see what happens to one particular character (the homeless cutie). Keep it up Tyler. I see a parallel between Tyler and Barack. Thru their journey, some historical wounds are beeing healed and true Hope is beeing examplified. This movie inspired me to be a better person, a better wife, a better mother, a better friend, a better worker, a better citizen. GREAT MOVIE for anyone with red blood.

I loved Tyler Perrys "Why Did I Get Married", but "The Family That Prey's Together" was excellent. Alfrie Woodard, Kathy Bates, and Sanaa Lathan brought so much power to this movie. The entire cast was excellent. I felt that all the roles were perfect for the actors and actresses that played them. This Movie definitly deserves an Oscar Nomination and Win.

Of course you would expect any Tyler Perry movie to be excellent and have a great storyline (with a message). I really enjoyed this one. Most of all, I appreciated the subliminal message of a Black woman properly handling her finances and business, living life on her own terms. Alfre Woodard pulled this off perfectly. The ending was great. Looking forward to the next movie already!!

This movie I would like to say first was ABSOLUTELY riveting. Not only did it engage in real life situations it showed the ugly side of money which most don't see or acknowledge. This movie depicted excellent drama but in a way where it's plot and characters provided a relief. Whenever a movie can formulate the way one dislikes or likes a character in the movie always shows excellent directing. So my final review for this movie would be two thumbs, 5 stars, just an all around excellent movie. One of the best movies this summer.

I truly believe this is the best Tyler Perry movie ever. I absolutely loved the diverse cast-Kathy Bates, Taraji P. Henson, etc. The movie evoked several emotions which was a refreshing change. This Tyler Perry film is the best I have seen this year. The story-line of family and friendship, devotion and betrayal was realistic and very relateable. All of the actors in this ensemble were pitch-perfect! The friendship between the two lead women was heart-warming, and rang true. Many life-lessons to be learned here. The Family That Preys shows that Tyler is getting better and better with his movies. This one has a lot of plots, turns, and still leaves room for discussion long after the movie is over.
