This movie was another great hit for Tyler Perry. Because it moved myself and my grandma of how two peolpe from different back grounds and race could become best friends for thirty years. Kathy Bates was awsome. I enjoy the humor and strong will she bought to this flick. A lady with class and let down to earth. Robin Givens role was also awsonme. It truly showed how a black woman could acomplish her goals without sleeping her way to the top. I also like how they showed that you should never look down on anyone because that just might be the build to help get you over.

I love this film, although he did not cast my favorite actor in it ( Lamman Rucker), but it was great to see that Mr. Perry can really put it together when it comes to making a movie. As soon as I left the movies, I text my friends, called my family and told my co-workers to go and see that movie. Tyler is really something else. Every character played their role. That slap across her face was probably the highlight of the movie. I am sure he isn't condoning violence but dang she had it coming to her!!!! Tyler Perry and the whole cast deserves an award for that film!

Tyler Perry's newest movie, "The Family That Preys" is an excellent example of the gift that God has given him. He is an great writer/producer/director. He is coming into his own as a wonderful actor. The story of a friendship maintained for 30 years by the main characters interjects the realities of life. Despite the rifts between family members, hurts and sorrows, this movie shows that life is really what you make it. It also shows that faith and love is key to living a decent life. Although hard as it might be sometimes, it is worth living right. I loved this movie. Tyler continue in your tradition of wholesome great cinema. Oscar Micheaux would be proud! :0)

The setting was really cool and the story line was especially meaningful and heart-warming. It had a good mixture of humor and real life stuff as well as great actors. I am proud of Tyler Perry. This movie not crosses racial lines, it has good substance. The plot kept me interested. I am very proud of Tyler. He has done a wonderful job. I definitely thought that this was one of Tyler Perry's better movies. The storyline seemed to be better developed and the interaction among the characters was great. Way to go, T. Perry!

I truly enjoyed the movie. I feel that the cast selection was the best yet in a TP movie. Woodard and Bates was a perfect match, no one could have done it better.

WHAT A LAME MOVIE!! Made by a "director-wanta-be!" I almost fell asleep it was soooo slow! The best thing tyler ever did was "Madea" and he should have stuck with that. You'd think with the support of the black community financially Tyler could do better, all they are doing is making him rich to produce sad, overacted, cheesy, not to mention tacky movies! YAWN!
