One thing I can truly say about Tyler's films is that; they are fun movies you can enjoy with your family (including children ages 12 and up).
Tyler is a real life story teller. He gives us food which we can live by; he gives us food for thought not to mention lessons to be learned. It never fails; I always leave his movies/plays after I have cried a little and laughed a lot. Tyler gives us the ability to identify with the subject matter in each film.

This was very true to life and just an overall awesome movie. The storyline was very compelling and well put together. The movie from start to finish was exhilarating. It had laughter, sadness, betrayal, love, kindness and motivation to "do" instead of just "be". I would recommend it highly and I would go see it again. I went to see the movie on it's opening day to theaters on Friday. This is the best Tyler Perry film yet. They just keep getting better and better. I really enjoyed it. I love how Tyler always makes you feel like you personally know each character in the movie. Sanaa Lathan played a role very unlike many of those she has done before. It was also funny. My one critique would be that It didn't end with the audience being able to know or at least imagine how each character progresses.

The Family that Preys is a true example that Mr. Perry is capable of competing with large production companies and succeed in Hollywood. The script was great, the cast performed well together, especially the connection between Alfre Woodard and Kathy Bates. I was very excited to see Sanaa Lathan play such a devious character! The plot was consistent, the drama was on point, and the punch lines intrigued the entire audience. This movie is a complete 360 from the style I am used to seeing from Mr. Perry, but I am extremely impressed! You go Mr. Perry!

Really enjoyable movie! Sanaa Lathan was definately the character you will love to hate. Alfre Woodfre was wonderful and Kathy Bates was truly the comic relief. This movie will make you laugh, scowl, and be sad all in less than 2 hours. Robin Givens even gave an above average performance! Tyler Perry and Taraji exemplified a healthy marital relationship. Why did I get married was a better movie, but I enjoyed this movie even more than Meet the Browns.

as always, thus far, tyler perry does a pretty good job amusing his audiences with a few good laughs. I think the movie was pretty predictable from the beginning, not totally and I'm not complaining, I enjoyed it. looking forward to his next project, movie and or stage play.
