I know that most of Tyler Perry's movies are geared more toward women but this one is actually "Guy" friendly. I loved this movie and it was not over the top like most of his movies are and it is directed so both men and women can enjoy it. This movie was funny and entertaining and as a guy I could relate and understand the plot as being universal, witty and in some cases "whoa he went there". I recommend it to all men and women (Black and white) alike and make it a date night with dinner. She will thank you later (hint hint)....

I went to see this movie the day it opened and wasn't disappointed. I saw Givens and Lathan switch role personalities which was interesting and loved the chemistry between Bates and Woodard. The other actors were great as well. A movie I wouldn't see with a date, but would go with my best friend to see in a heartbeat.

I must say that this movie is the best that Tyler has done thus far. This movie is not based on one of his plays, which I think makes it better. It deals with real issues that are within families and how they are handled. Sanaa Lathan is so good in this movie that you actually leave the theater not liking her character. If you were waivering about seeing this movie, don't. It is a must see!!!!!

This was a first for Tyler Perry. He steppped out of the box and brught us something different . This shows his range of talent. The characteristic we would normally fnd in Madea, you see in Alfred Woodard's character, Alice. The movie was really good. I would say that hew did not really develop the character of Sanaa or Rockmond. They were portrayed ' ( as "heavily bitter" (Sanaa) and "not having a clue" (Rockmond). I just think we could have seen some other aspect of them like we saw with Charlotte and Alice ( the white woman) and (ALfred Woodard). Nonetheless, I would advise friends to see the movie.

Brilliant choice of actors and actresses. Superb casting. An excellent movie that highlighted the fact that Tyler Perry can do it all. This was the best movie ever. Tyler did his best work yet. Alfre Woodard was amazing. The story was an american story, anyone black or white would love it. It is a definite must see.

This movie has substance and is definitely a Tyler Perry must see!!! The all star cast just brought their characters to life and I must say they laid it down. Kudos to Tyler for a job well done.

I just returned from viewing the movie with my wife and I left the theater feeling like I could of sat through another few hours of the movie. You know a movie is awesome when you just can't get enough of it. All I can say is "Tyler Perry job well done!"
