I thought it was pretty good. I'm not sure if I would say it was his best, but it did cover a lot of real-life issues. It showed how you can be up one day and down the next. The moral of the story is be careful who you step on trying to get to the top.

I went with my wife and I wasn't thinkng it would be something I would be interested in, but I was working on earning "brownie points", so I went. I actually thought it was a great movie and will suggest it to my other guy friends. A very strong message of how a woman can make or break a good man's desire to be a better man. Women and men should support each other's dreams to aspire and be a better person (career, husband, father, etc.). And the acting...well done. I've never watched a T.P. movie until this one and I have to give him credit for thinking of all of his viewers (especially the men). Good job TP and the whole crew.

Usually I regard Tyler Perry movies as alot of bafoonery, and I stopped watched them after the first one I saw with Madea as the star. Tyler's big screen movies are usually remakes from his plays. (I have always enjoyed every play). The plays which turned to movies, in my opinion, have just been OK. "The Family that Preys" (that I am aware of) has never been a play and it was absolutely his best movie to date!!! Sanaa Lathan did her thing. The bond between Alfre and Kathy was awesome. IN short, there wasn't anything at all about this movie that I did not like!!!

The movie The family that Preys was very good, it was interesting from beginning to end. I enjoyed every minute of it. It was funny at times,sad at times but it was very good!!!
