As a die hard fan, I found this movie a dissapointment. There is no doubt that young kids will love it, as it was undoubtedly geared towards them. As for adults that grew up with the Star Wars saga, the movie held little attraction and was entirely too "Fluffy" to be included in the saga. The entire plot was rather weak, and the characters seemed very contrived. If this were not a Star Wars movie, with characters we are all familiar with, I have little doubt this would have been a Cartoon Network special instead of a major release movie. Summary: If you have kids between the ages of 5 and 12, take them to see it, they will love it. Anyone else, best to wait till it's out on DVD

The "Star Wars" fall from the original trilogy's brilliance to the prequel trilogy's competence was acceptable to me (and yes, I am a "Star Wars" fan... so, keep that in mind). However, this 7th theatrical release was an even more precipitous fall than even I was exepecting. And the idea that it is okay for this movie not be on-par with its predecessors because it is a cartoon (and hence it is intended for kids) is absolutely unacceptable.... just look at all of the splendid offerings from Pixar over the last 13 years. The "Star Wars" universe has hit a new low, and you don't need the force to sense that there will not be a return to glory for this franchise.

Enjoyed the movie, except for the Padawan, she was a little annoying. If you are a serious Star Wars fan, this is a must see, for those that are not that serious, just wait till the movie comes out for rent or dvd.

Sad excuse for a Star Wars movie. Actors did a good job and the action was cool, but the story was absurd. Clone Wars had some good redeeming qualities but by the end I was ready for it to be over.

The story line; while decent for younger audiences or individuals newer to the star wars universe seemed weak for the core fans of the series. The key characters of the Clone Wars are present but the addition of some of the new ones seems out of place and inconsistent with the past explanations of events during the clone wars. The stylized animation of the movie is one of the high notes of the film which is highly detailed giving a unique look and feel to this telling of a star wars story. Overall the film is enjoyable for younger viewers but for some older viewers with a long history with the franchise they may feel a little let down.
