My 6 year old son was bored about 45 minutes in which is really unusual. He ended up curling up on my lap and was almost asleep by the end (which I made him sit through). There was some clever lines "what the... duck?" but that was about it.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

My husband and I took our 6 year old to see this movie. I asked my daughter what she thought and she said she loved it. My husband and I enjoyed it also. I will be buying it when it comes out on dvd.

I am 53 and went with my 60 year old friend, and it was fun!! There were many MANY clever lines and the story-line was amusing. The pixar-like movie was great. Great laughs.

Absolutely a wonderful movie. Story was fantastic and was a perfect length. My little one stay interested through out, laughed and even thanked me at the end for taking her to this movie. "I told you it was a great movie, daddy" was her exact words. As said in the movie, here is a High Four! Alsom Harkins ROCKS. The movie for the two of us was $6.50 cheaper than AMC. I never knew there was such disparrity.

This was a good movie for the nephews that are 9,8, and 5 but it became slightly predictable and slow about 2/3 through the movie. It was a good movie, but not necessarily a great movie.

'Planet 51' has great artwork, animation, and a cute story. Most of the people in the theater were young parents with kids, but the time period references were great for those of us who remember the 50's. Take your kids and/or grandkids for some good, clean fun. Or, see it by yourself. It's just as good.
