A fun movie. Not exactly the most complicated, smartest, or scariest film, but it's entertaining. If you like horror movies that you can laugh at, this is definitely a pick, and the 3d helps it stand out (though the effects aren't even as good as the Muppets 3d that's over a decade old).

I have seen a few 3-D movies recently and the 3-D in this one was the worst of the lot. Any time they would focus on something up close everything in the background would go blurry - which made it hard to watch.
I had read some reviews of this movie prior to going and they were right on. The plot is pretty predictable and other than the good special effects, the movie was about average. The 3-D, despite its relatively poor quality, made my rating "Good" rather than "Average".

Movie jumps right in with some 3D affects. It is almost as if they have directed the actors to be terrible on purpose. Even the older characters who have been in multiple movies are amusing awful. It is like a bad soap opera with gore, it is more funny than scary. There of course are some scenes where people jump out of their seats and scream, also many scences when people are laughing att the sillyness. A few spectacular effects, the pick ax throw, the shotgun and pistol pointing scence, could have used more of these. The movie could have been rapped up in an hour for my taste. Take the time but to see but expect to laugh more than jump out of your seat.

A must see in 3D! This felt more and more like a classic 80's horror flick with every passing minute! The makeup and gore is top-notch, as well as certain 3D effects. I am a horror buff so not much makes me jump. Perhaps it was the 3D effects, but I thought the movie was good enough that I would definately go see it again.
It had a dry spell in the middle where there were no killings, but it did keep me guessing until the VERY END as to what was going to happen!
My general rule of thumb is if someone dies in the first 5 minutes, it will be a good movie. That has bitten me in the rear a couple of times, but this time it was right on the money.

If you have never seen a 3D horror film before I would recommend it. The whole time we were there I was shocked at the amount of kids that were in the theater. You would think that the term Graphic Nudity and Strong Sexuality would cause Theater Security to tighten up. On a postive note, if you like graphic violence then you will enjoy the film. The original was better than the remake but to see it in 3D was fun.

Although My Bloody Valentine is not exactly a great movie (in fact, it's not even a good movie necessarily), it is a nice throwback to the early 80's slasher genre, which is a good thing in the modern era of torture porn and J-Horror wannabe's. That said, watching it in 3-D is pretty much required, as it does add a nice visceral thrill to the whole proceedings, and makes the movie much more fun. Outside of 3-D, it's little more than an adequate 80's throwback, I'd imagine. But with 3-D, it somehow becomes much more. That said, it's still very gory, jolting, and includes an abundance of nudity. But if that's the kind of stuff you don't like, you probably aren't reading this review anyway.

Don't sleep on this campy horrorfest! My expectations were not high, but I definitely wanted to see it since it is in 3D and it did not disappoint. I love this movie and I want to see it again. I saw it in Digital Real-D 3D, which is 10x better than IMAX 3D. It is true camp at its best, but we were so drawn in. I think it would even be good without the 3D, but it definitely made it way cooler. 2 thumbs way up!

This movie was great, Jensen Ackles' performance was amazing. The plot was really engaging and you will definently be suprised by what happens. The 3D makes every thing so real, overall it is a wonderful movie.

The movie itself was not bad, but 3D was pretty good. The only thing I have a problem with is that the 3D parts were sometimes a little corny. Can't wait until they start making good movies in 3D like this one. If like to see a lot of blood and guts like I do you can watch the whole movie and not complain too much.

this is a b movie ... very cheesy actors but because it was in 3d it was fun to watch. I laughed more then it scared me. if you want to see it.. go ... you'll have fun but don't expect a good scary movie.
