This movie was your typical horror film with plenty of blood and gore. The part that I was excited to see was the 3D effects. This movie did not disappoint myself or the 5 others persons I was with. The 3D made you feel as if you were right there in the movie. There were plenty of parts to get you jumping or at least dodging in your seat. The story line and all was nothing to be passing awards out for, but if you want just some good, clean blood and guts that are litteraly flying out at you then please go see this movie. I would not see it any other way.

I loved the movie. It was so cool, because the whole entire movie was in 3-D (Real D). What a surprise! Most 3-D movies only have certain times that you need to put on your glasses. The effects were great and I was screaming the whole entire time (just about). The 3D effects were so neat- it was like you could actually reach out and touch stuff and there were times that the slasher's weapon or bullets were coming straight for you. I mean, I actually moved so I couldn't get hit- that's how real it seemed.

I wasted $50 buck for myself and 2 other friends to go to this horrid movie!!! One of them walked out half way through to sit in her car cause she was fallin asleep, and the other one actuall fell asleep!! The 3-D effects were ok, but there weren't enough of them to really make a dif, and the movie was really dark, so you couldn't see much. I swear!! when are film makers gonna make a "REAL" horror movie again, instead of this crap my 7 year old could watch with no bad dreams!!! I give this movie a "NO STAR" rating!!!

As far as slasher movies go, this one was great. The whole movie was shot in 3D, which really added depth to every scene. However, you should bear in mind that this is a gory horror movie. Like most gory horror movies, it relies on scary things, naked things, and gruesome things to evoke a reaction, not necessarily plot. But that's just how slasher movies are. The acting was great. Very entertaining! My eyes were glued to the 3D screen - which is what movies are meant to do! Entertain!

I thought this movie was horrible. If your a movie lover and love horror movies wait for it to come out. The 3D version was bad. The glasses make the movie blurry and their isnt many 3D things in it. The best actor was the killer in the end. (dont want to give it away) The only part that kept in the theater was to find out who the killer was. Dont spend the money at the movies!!

The gore was great and at times got me to jump or cringe. The story was a typical horror movie: gore, know the actors, little bit of a plot, more gore, some more gore, a little more gore, a plot twist, and a short little wrap-up. I liked it as I did any movie of this sort. I was laughing at the horrible acting, the stupidity of frightened characters, and the funny ways people got slaughtered.
The 3D aspect was phenomenal! You can almost reach out and pick up the characters and put them in your pocket for later reenactments of frighthened characters.
All in all, and for what it was, great horror movie. I highly recommend it. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

...and you will have a great time! Movie was a classic 1970s style slasher flick. Full of cheap trick jump out of your seat moments and the perfect amount of gore. (Enough to make you shout out "Ewww" but not enough to make you want to vomit.)
The 3D experience was hilarious. Hands dripping blood, eyeballs flying out at you. My favourite aspect was when a gun was pointed out towards the audience. You knew it wasn't real, and yet instinct told you to flinch anyway!
Definitely worth seeing in 3D. I believe if you go to a regular showing you will be disappointed. The 3D experience is the way to go.

This movie was a fun slasher pic. A little less gory than expected, but the 3D delivery made up for the lack of splattering by giving us cavernous shots of open carcasses and eyeballs popping. The story kept you guessing, but the wrap up was a little lacking. There were a series of flashbacks that lead you to believe "why" the killer was who he was that ran across the screen in less than 15 seconds to deliver the conclusion. My wife and I actually had to discuss the outcome in the car ride home to both feel satisfied in the conclusion. Still - I really dig on this next generation of Digital 3D - While still not perfect, it is fun - Kind of like looking though a shadowbox for 1 1/2 hours with a few blurry moments that seemed unnatural.

I'll preface this by saying I haven't seen the original, but as a fan of eighties horror movies in general, this movie certainly does them justice with the gore. The 3D is amazing as well; it's truly 3D and they shot a lot of things to directly mess with the audience, which is great. I've seen this movie twice now and still find it enjoyable. Really quality slasher movie that only drags in a couple of places because of dialogue. Jensen Ackles and Kerr Smith do great jobs with their characters.

This was one of the worst attempts at horror I've ever seen. The story makes NO sense and gets more convoluted as it goes along - making a simple plot quite a quagmire of ridiculousness by the end. There are some gorey murders, which I liked, and some of the funniest "scary" scenes. My boyfriend and I chuckled for about 70% of this drivel. If it was listed as a comedy, I would''ve given 3 stars. As far as the acting, the main guy did a decent job. The other 2 main characters would need acting classes to get on a soap opera. In fact, as we neared the theatre some girl called out "Don't go see Bloody Valentine - it's so stupid" . Skip this one - the 3D special effects can't save a movie that sucks

Really intense shocker that is a very nice companion to the 1981 original. 10 minutes into the movie the jumps started and never let up. The sex scenes were not done for cheap effect [thank god ], we could not guess the ending [ how different ] and the overall movie shined thru as a gorehounds labor of love. The 3d was state of the art, so good in fact that @ times you forgot it was in 3-D, no eye strain whatsoever- simply a great show !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE MOVIE IT WAS COMPLETE STUPIDITY THESE PEOPLE LINE UP TO GET KILLED NOT 1 PERSON IN THAT MOVIE KNEW HOW TO ACT SO YOU COULDNT TAKE ANY OF THEM SERIOUSLY THE GORE WASNT REALISTIC IT LOOKED FAKE THE WHOLE STORYLINE WAS FAKE PEOPLE SURVIVE HONESTLY I DONT KNOW HOW WITHOUT A SCRATCH AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN SHOT BLOWN UP AND A BUNCH OF ROCKS FROM THE MINE FALL ON YOU HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO NOT DIE THE TWIST IN WHO THE KILLER IS PROBABLY THE ONLY SHOCK IN THE MOVIE IT WASNT EVEN SCARY THE 3D AFFECT WASNT AS GOOD AS THEY EVEN SAID IT WAS THERE WAS ONLY SOME PARTS THAT WERE ACTUALLY IN 3D AND MOST OF THE TIME IT WAS BLURRY!!!!!!

Yet another horror classic remake. My expectations were not high going in. The Omen remake (need I say more?). However, this movie was FANTASTIC!! The 3D element really set a great atmosphere. The gore started immediately and was nonstop! The movie had you guessing the identity of the killer right up to the very end. The original My Bloody Valentine was a great movie and will always be a classic. The remake is good enough to stand on it's own. Well worth the price of a ticket and a couple hours of your life. I will happily add this to my DVD collection.

I have not been to the movies in a very long time. This is the best movie I have ever seen. The 3D effects were awesome. I went back and seen it again and still liked it just as much. This is definately a must see!

Silly premise and plot. Not the worst acting I've ever seen for a slasher film. That actor who played the sheriff was not very believable. Great visuals though.

My husband and I decided to go see this movie in theaters for my birthday! Supernatural (1 of our fav shows) "Dean" stars in this movie so we had to go see it! We went in a bit skeptical(typical horror flick) but man were we wrong! It had you guessing til the very end and OMG the gore! I thought I was going to puke (I'm not squeamish)! The 3D just added to the movie tenfold (blood, weapons & body parts flying right at you) So close at times during the movie that I jumped because it got a little close for comfort! My advice: Sit as close to the screen as possible to get the full effect! Avoid if squeamish! No kids ( full frontal nudity & sex)! Otherwise a great movie for ADULT horror fanatics like me!
