I loved this movie! Yes, it was predictable, but you have to love the underdog turned hero. A lot of people can relate to this ordinary guy who would do anything to protect those he loves. Unlike the other reviewers, I thought it was hilarious!

If you like good, biased, rude and offensive humor then this is the movie for you. I found the jokes not funny at all and quite offensive to all people. I think that with every thing that is happening around us we all need to take some time and enjoy a movie that is funny, even if for an hour or so it makes us laugh. Ok maybe we have been stuck inside our house for 3 days to long (snow and ice) but me, my husband and 2 daughters 21, and 24 thought this was a funny movie, it made us laugh. The girls wanted to go see Bride Wars, but since dad was going we didnt think he would want to see that one so we chose Mall Cop I thought the acting was great. I would recommend this to anyone who just needs a good laugh. Would not recommend this movie for young children I was suprised to see quite a few younger children anyway we thought it was funny and so it delivered what we were looking for in a movie

All of us (one adult and five boys ranging from 10-15 yrs. old) really enjoyed the movie. The 10 yr. old was a bit bored in the beginning, but that changed once the action started. It was nice to see a father portrayed as such a positive character (unlike most Disney movies). Many good character qualities were demonstrated.

I thought this movie was really good. I'm a huge fan of King of Queens and Kevin James was good for this role. It was funny yet clean. Most movies that aren't raunchy aren't funny. It's the best movie that Happy Madison has put out since the Waterboy.

Not only was the acting terrible, excluding Kevin James, the plot was extremely boring, predictable, and slow. Had I not been with other people, I would have walked out of the theater. It was NOT funny, it was NOT entertaining and I did not enjoy it. I highly recommend seeing a different movie, if you were considering paying for this one. It is a waste of time and money. I was shocked at how violent this movie was. I considered myself pretty liberal in this arena however I am sorry my 6 yr old had to see this. Whereas most comedies of this type create the villains to be a threat, they usually portray a "clumsy" or "dumb" quality about them therefore easing the "scare" factor for the younger ones. But NOT in mall cop. These bad guys were HARD CORE and scary! AND extremely violent. There was nothing funny about them. For this, I think movie should have been PG-13 for sure!! The funniest parts of this movie were pretty corny...

This movie was very well done for this type of comedy. You don't go to this movie expecting timeless classic. It's a good way to enjoy some good comedy, a decent story line and get away from it all for 90 minutes. Good for everyone around 10 years and older. My teenage son and I saw this together. We both loved it. He thought it was hilarious and even noted that it was the first time he ever saw a movie where the "fat guy" was the action hero. Blart had been a "loser" in every way for most of his life. This is his big chance.

Took my 11 year old to see this, he liked it, but I really didn't. There are many family movies we both can enjoy but I thought this one had a lazy plot and wasn't terribly funny. Laughed out loud about twice the whole movie, spent a lot of time thinking about how flawed the plot was (why would anyone take over a mall? what are they going to do with credit card access codes? How had they originally planned to get out of there? Why wasn't the mall surrounded?) It was frustrating.

I am so glad I read the reviews on here. They convinced me to go with my son, who went w/ a group. I really enjoyed this movie! I didn't expect much out of this movie, but it wasn't bad. There were a few funny moments, and even a few sweet ones. I went for my fiance, but I enjoyed it.

It started out a bit slow. It had some funny parts but we expected a few more. The story line was a pleasant surprise. There was more action than we expected. We took our 11 and 7 year olds and they loved it. We also enjoyed it. iI was a good family friendly movie that kept all of our attention!

This was a great movie! I almost pee'd myself laughing so hard..HAHA. My husband and I went to see this movie cause everything else was sold out for the time slot we wanted. I hadn't even watched the previews, so I didn't know what to expect. My husband and I have always loved King of Queens, so we knew it would be funny, but it was hilarious! From clumsy Kevin to kick-a** Kevin, it was really well played. It wasn't too slow, and there were unexpected outcomes around every corner. I would recommend this movie to all of my friends, and to strangers on the street. GO WATCH IT!
