I enjoyed the movie. No surprises but it still made me laugh. The parts where a 'stealthy' Blart dances around trying to stay under cover reminded me of Belushi in animal house, which can't be a bad thing.

The best part of this movie is that I now have something to hold over my husband's head the next time I pick a bad movie! "But it's the number one movie" he said. "All the reviews were good" he said. I saw it two days ago and am still waiting for the good parts to start. So boring, dull, ridiculous, and....I can't think of enough synonyms for boring. I think I giggled one time at the lollipop scene. Other than that, nothing. Save your time for ANYTHING else.

I love it when I read reviews from people that watch a movie like this one and claim it was "stupid, predictable ect..." What in the world are you expecting? This was a hilarious movie, wonderful for my kids ages 9 and 12. I wish some of the reviewers would just lighten up a little and enyoy a top notch comedy.

I took my kids 10 and 7 it was great! We laughed so hard and I know we will be talking about it for days! Can't wait for the DVD to come out I know it's one my kids will watch again and again. Also good morals in the movie was nice to see that.

I kept my expectations low for this predictable comedy, but with little to choose from, I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. It's lame and cheesy, but there's something endearing about James' character. I think there's probably a bit of "Blart" in all of us - a certain inadequacy that we try to hide from the rest of the world - so seeing him successfully step out of his comfort zone and eventually come out the hero was uplifting. Pre-teen kids will definitely enjoy it, and adults should just relax and go with the flow. Heck, it's only 90 minutes of your life, and it sure beats watching financial experts discuss the unemployment rate. Why not getting a few laughs at Blart's expense? Enjoy!

If you are a Kevin James fan you'll enjoy a few laughs. Overall the movie was a good time, but it just kind of starts in the middle and the ending can be seen from a mile away. The previews give away most of the good parts, but I still found myself laughing and my twelve year old thought it was great! So how much can you really expect from a movie about a mall cop? If it makes my kid laugh - I'm in.

I didn't know quite what to expect from this movie. I must admit, I was surprised. This movie, while stupid (to be expected) at times, had a sweet sub-plot of love between the cop and his daughter -- where a daughter already knows how much of a hero her father is to her -- without him having to prove it.
Kevin James is spectacular in his physical comedy and he really knows how to take a character, including all facets of how the script was written, to the next level.
An immensely enjoyable movie for most ages.

Don't be a fool like me and think that this movie is appropriate for kids of all ages. It is not! I brought my 4,6, and 8 year old and it was: #1 not funny, #2 foul mouthed, #3 typical Adam Sandler humor (old lady beats up fat guy and all jokes revolve around sat, pathetic fat guy).
This was, I think, supposed to be an Adam Sandler film that would be permissable for kids, but it falls flat on all accounts.

this movie seemed to be put togher rather quickly, without the producer giving to much attention to the fact that this movie was geared twards all audences. Children under the age of 10 would probably get a kick out of this movie. Me being over 10 (chuckles) found that this movie really wasnt worth the $16.00 that I put out. Now if you are into comedies that are in the neighborhood of like; Dumb and dumber,ace ventura.... etc. then this movie is right up your alley. So check it out for yourself.

Embarrassingly stupid. Ridiculous plot if you want to call it a plot. Hard to believe that anything could make New Jersey look even worse than it already does, but this movie has succeeded. Kevin James should be banned from Hollywood and Jayma Mays should be involuntarily committed into a mental institution for taking this part. A life on the streets or working Hollywood Blvd. would have been better for her career.
