This is a movie that every American should see. We have been building this problem for some years now, and the solution, as aptly discussed, will be neither painless or quick, but must be addressed very soon or we will no longer be an effective nation in the world, and will leave our children and grandchildren a bankrupt nation. A key problem is a void in leadership which properly puts the burden on each of us to select leaders who have the guts to propose and implement difficult solutions, and then for each of us to be proactive in insisting that these measures be carried out. Lets try to get a broader exposure of the facts to all Americans. Where is our news media in all of this?

The issues addressed in this film have been a great concern for me over the last several years. I would suggest this film for any American who does not understand the monetary and fiscal policy but is suspicious their elected representatives may not be telling them the whole truth about everything. There are no free lunches and eventually the bill comes due. Our federal government simply does not have the money to fulfill all the promises they've made. Something has to give, either policy reform or higher taxes (or some combination of the two). We cannot have it both ways.

This movie makes one realize that it every politicians fault for the mess we are in. Both parties have added to the problem. If the American people wake up and do something I think it will eliminate the larger part of the national debt. Our children and grandchildren deserve a cleaner slate to live and work from. Everyone needs to quit having the government fix all of their problems and do more for themselves.

We sat in awe of this documentary, and even though we knew of the debt in the U.S.A. we didn't realize the magnatude. The documentary came down to the regular person's level, you didn't have to be an economic guru. This film makes you want to stand up and say enough is enough.

This is the kind of documentary that actually inspires me to do something. When the movie ended, there was no doubt left in my mind that our country faces a fiscal crisis that can no longer be ignored. Though the movie bills itself as non-partisan, I was concerned that the overly negative emphasis on the current administration (however well deserved) might give some people the false impression that Republican policies are primarily responsible for the fiscal mess we are in. It makes me wonder if it is going to take a third-party candidate to muster enough courage to make the tough policy decisions that absolutely have to be made.

The best documentary on the financial crises facing this country I've ever viewed! I wish that everyone took the time to see this.
