I had no idea that there was cursing and nudity in this movie... awesome. I had only seen this on tv until now. when this movie was released in 1984, I was a junior in high school and didn't make it to the movies that often. highly recommended if you enjoyed hot tub time machine.

Nearly 27 years later and this movie still rules! John Hughes was a genius when it came to writing and producing movies that completely captured the teen soul. Even now, I know teenagers could totally relate to all of the characters in the film, especially "Samantha Baker." I have watched this movie a hundred times or more and have memorized every line, so watching it on the big screen was a dream come true!

It was awesome to see this on the big screen. I can't remember seeing it in the theater when it came out originally. I have seen it many times on TV, but there were a lot of details I caught from the screen version that you don't see on TV.
We got a group of family and friends together and made a whole night out of going to see this movie - it was a blast! We'd do it all the time if AMC showed the 80's era movies like once a month.
All in all - a great night out !
