well, i was kind of disappointed. if u didnt read the book there is no point of seeing it. it left out soo much in the movie. people who didnt read the book were so confused. also when they made the actors pale.. you could see their make up line?? really dont they check those things. i still loved it only cuz im obsessed with the series. i recommend you read the book first. i still love bella and edward is amazing.

This movie was SOOO good. i saw it at midnight and enjoyed every min of it. when i saw the characters i was a little skeptical about the movie, but most of them did a great job. Obviously not all of the book is there and some parts did get changed but i think it kept the spirit of the book in mind. My friend refused to read the books before we went to see the movie because she thought they would be dumb...she is reading them now!

Nicely different from the book. The film added some variety to keep things interesting, but nothing to disrupt the integrity of the book. I thought the casting for Bella and Edward was excellent!

the movie was fantastic!!! it did not cover everything, but that was to be expected given the transition from book to screen. if you decided to see twilight without previously reading the books you may have had trouble following. the film could have been horrific, and i still would have gone to see it more than once. just witnessing the story come to life was worth it. i was very excited as i went twice on opening day. and i'm sure i will go at least twice more. as for the sequels...i would like to see more of the realtionships being developed between our beloved characters. i would recommend this film and stephenie meyers' saga to ANYONE. i consider this my favorite love story of all time.

I love the twilight books and I was so excited to see the movie in theaters at midnight with my friends. However, I was mildly disappointed. I felt that the story was never developed, Edward and Bella's romance seemed to just appear and the whole ending was rushed. The fight scene at the end was good though and so was the casting. The movie was very funny and witty but sometimes it felt that I was watching an SNL skit of twilight.

I read through all 4 books in record time for me (11 days). I felt the embellishments in the movie (animal attacks) were added to demonstrate the evil that certain vampires in that trio possessed. I thought Bella's portrayal was perfect. Although I thought Dr. Cullen's features to be a bit pointed, I thought the roles were well cast and remained true to the book in almost all aspects. More so than many adaptations. I eagerly await the next movie and no matter how many series I have read since, I will go back to this one in time. Well done!

I was so excitied about this movie! I think i got my hopes up too high because i love the book so very much. I think they should have dug alittle deeper in the character's development. Edward and Bella's deep, revealing conversations and declarations are the reasons i fell in love with Edward and Bella. Having said that, the casting is spot on! Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are terrific together and their chemistry is electric. She is the perfect Bella! Performances are very well done though.

I thought the movie was pretty good. There were a few things I didn't like. I didn't think they fully captured the love of Edward and Bella. The meadow seen could of been longer. I would of liked to have seen in the movie where Bella almost faints in biology. I liked all the actors they choice for the parts. Overall I thought the movie was good. but I would not use the same director. You can only put so much in a 2 hour movie from a 400+ page book and only do so much with the money you have. Hopefully they will learn from Twilight and make the other ones better.

I loved the book it was a great read, however, I was very dissappointed in the movie! Loved the Cullen family especially Edward, He was great.
I thought the movie was rushed thru very special events that took place in the book. The bond between Bella and Edward was not nearly a match from the book. I thought alot of special emotions between the two was not captured on screen.

This was an obviously low-budget attempt at what had blockbuster potential. It was a disgrace to the books (which I LOVED), & could have been so GOOD. The movie trailer had every decent part of the movie in it. Pretty much everything else was D+ work, if that.
I would not recommend this movie to anyone.

Is the movie exactly like the book? No - it never is, and it doesn't really matter here! If you're a fan, you'll still truly enjoy the film. The small changes to the story did not detract from the entertainment level of the film. This is the first movie that I've seen all year for which I was HAPPY to pay full ticket price! And it was worth every penny. Seeing Robert Pattinson embody Edward was worth the wait! You bet your butt I'm going to see it again! And I'll be first in line to buy a copy when it's released on DVD!!! FYI, I'm over thirty, and I have no kids, so yes, both the series and the movie appeal to women who are NOT teenagers or mothers!

I saw Twilight this saturday, and had an unsure feeling about watching it before, during, and after the showing. there was good, bad, funny, scary parts. People like this movie because it's about a bad boy who's trying hard to be good for a girl he loves--what is there to dislike? Well, a bit. Of course, the eye candy is nice, but some of the images were very frightening, and the subject matter isn't exactly cheery. If you do watch, do so with disgression. Twilight has a kind of maledictive draw to it that could almost make you believe this is reality.

I really really enjoyed this movie! I went in expecting to be disappointed... we all know how the typical book to movie thing goes. But, I was not the least bit disappointed. I think they did a great job at keeping to the original story. There were a couple of times where I nudged my husband and said, "that was different in the book" but it wasn't anything major. I loved this movie so much, I'm going to see it again on Thanksgiving!

I thought that Twilight was a really good movie. It was really similar to the book, unlike most movies. Even though some parts were different, it all worked out. The casting was spectacular and everything happened just as I imagined it while I was reading the book. I cannot wait for New Moon to come out and I loved how it left you hanging with Victoria at the very end. This was definitely one of my favorite movies!!! I am a big fan of Twilight, having read the books 3 times, & I was happy w/ the movie. The plot, was shortened & tweaked to make it movie-friendly, but the atmosphere and storyline were beautifully preserved. All the actors did fantastic jobs of bringing the characters to life. I was particularly impressed with Robert's portrayal of Edward. He did a great job of giving viewers insight into Edward’s personality without Bella's rose-shade sunglasses that you see him through when reading the book. The movie not only pleases the Twihards, but also entertained even my boyfriend, whom I dragged with me despite his complaints the whole way there. At the end he said, "I can't believe Rotten Tomatoes gave that a 44, I would give it at least a 97!"

I thought that Twilight was different from the book in a bad way! They messed up the Meadow scene and it was too akward. Edward didn't smile and laugh as much as he should of. I think the directing was probably teh worst. I don't think that the acting was as bad because these people have been in movies where they are good.

Ok so obviously i knew there would be changes from the book to the movie, but there are so many parts they left out, that i miss.
