I wouldn't be a true twilight fan if I said I didnt like the movie so of course I loved the movie! The characters are great and I really I'am looking forward to New Moon. Personally I did feel they left alot of the small details they left out in the book but for those who have not read the book yet I absolutely recomend it. Robert and Kristen are my perfect Edward and Bella. The books are always going to be better than the movie, Twilight no exceptions, and I expected that from the begining but it didnt ruin the movie at all. I still loved the characters being played in real life ^-^

If I had to pick the best movie of the year it would be Twilight. It is packed with action, romance and everything in between. I recommend reading the book and then watch the movie and see how far you and "sink" your teeth into the books, and this amazing movie!

I've never admitted to a Favorite movie but this is it definitely. I've seen it twice and im positive i'll watch it more. Although it isn't as good as the books, its still true to the books. I walked in the theatre with low expectations and walked out content. Great Movie, Soundtrack, and actors. New Moon will most likely be better :]

I really liked this movie! It is one of the best that I have seen in a while. The action, romance, and vampires should draw all types. Also, very tasteful, for a vampire movie, not too much blood and gore. The special effects and powers were amazing, but believable.

I believe this movie was fantastic. It stuck to the book better than I could have ever imagined. I can not wait til it comes out on DVD! I would definitely recommend seeing it more than once.

I saw the movie before i read the books, so i wasn't really expecting anything at all. But once i saw the movie i immediately headed to barnes and nobles that same night and got the book, I finished the first book in ONE day. I thought the book was much better considering the fact that they really showed the love edward and bella had for one another, i wish they would have emphasized on that much more in the movie with robert and kristen (edward and bella) but I also thought robert and kristen were great for the parts of edward and bella. I have no complaints about this movie, except that i wish they would have emphasized on the love that edward and bella had for eachother a little more. (:

I loved the movie! Granted they left out quite a few details (you would only know about them if you read the book) but you would still understand the movie if you haven't read the series. I have seen it four times already. Yes, I'm addicted to the movie and the books. I even have my mother reading them now. It is definitely a must see. But of course the only one who can decide that is yourself.

I have read the series 3 times and just had a different expectation of what was portrayed on screen. The events were out of order and the added scenes where a waste.Knowing it was given a low budget the money spent on the magic carpet could have been spent on better special effects. The meadow scene was the biggest disappointment along with Edward's look when sucking out the venom from Bella's arm he looked ridiculous with his facial expression.
Kristen Stewart did a good job playing Bella, she carries the what you see is what you get, girl next door persona in every one of her movies. I would like to see the rest of cast come back also especially Rosalie, Alice and Emmett.

I just have to say that i loved this movie. I am obssesed with the books and nothing will ever be able to have the effect that the books did. but they did a pretty damn good job on the movie for a low budget film. if u have read the books and loved them like i have then u will appreciate the movie. some things are different but thats to be expected in a movie. they are never exactly like the book thats why the book is ALWAYS better. i Loved it but thats just my oppnion. anyone else can think what they want. but ive seen it twice and plan on going again!!!! cant wait for the next one!!! TEAM EDWARD lol

My mistake having gone in to the theater to watch Twilight was to have the book in my head. Once I went back and saw it for the second and third time I really just allowed myself to enjoy the new version of the story i love so much. While I'd have prefered for a few things to be different I feel that both Pattinson and Stewart did a great job. All of the characters were well matched up with the actors who played them and the story it self was portaryed very well.

I thought this movie was incredible. It was a great adaptation from the book beside inconsequential differences to make the movie better. I have never bothered to see a movie twice in the theatres. I had to see this one twice and will probably go see it again. I think it had it all ,romance for the girls and a little action for the boys. Great movie.

This adaptation of the popular books stands well on its own with good performances from Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. The angst of the characters are well played without being melodramatic or silly. At moments funny, the film has good pacing for the most part, though a little slow at the opening. Cinematography takes advantage of the expansive views of the Pacific Northwest while coloration of the film always supports the mood. A worthwhile endeavor. Let us hope they keep it up and continue to improve the films as the series unfolds.

The movie was great and the cast even better, but I wished they would've kepted to the book a little more. Like the part about prom and the dance. I mean I enjoyed reading the part about all the guys asking and Edward stopping in the middle of the school parking lot to give Eric his chance... thats the stuff i wanted to see. Overall it was really good.

I've seen Twilight twice and I can't wait to get it on DVD. Sure, they missed some important parts from the book but this is a movie. You can't expect to fit all of the single things from the book in a 2hr movie.
So overall, I think that the movie itself was good. It was really funny and romantic. Plus, the actors are all good looking. No lie.
It really concentrated on the introduction to Edward and Bella falling in love.
I can't wait for the follow-up movie, "New Moon". More action, more good looking kids, more fun-filled lines, and more romance.
It's a good movie to watch with your friends&family.
The Baseball scene is the best part. Just saying.

I am 48 years old and have seen this movie 4 times and will probably see it again and will difinitely buy it when it comes out on DVD. I read the book and thought the movie was even better as the visuals were beautiful from the scenery to Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen. I could look at him all day. The love story was good although might have been a little more believable if they were just a little older.

I've seen Twilight 4 times now and have read all 4 books 3 times. This is a MUST SEE movie. How wonderful to see our beloved characters brought to life! Rob and Kristen's chemistry is amazing! So worth it to see the two of them together. You won' regret it!

I am a fan of the book series but I was very disappointed with the movie. It had the appearance of watching a poorly colorized version of a on old black and white movie. The acting was so overly dramatic that it felt like I was watching a "silent movie" with sound added to it. I did not agree with the director's vision. I hope they learn from the first one and do the sequel to match the feel of the books.

I thought the movie was awesome! Book was better but that was to be expected. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 cuz I thought Edward was just a tad to, oh i don't know... whiney... not sure what it was but he wasn't as sarcastic or as tough as I had pictured him in my head. All in all I loved the movie and absolutely adore the book series!! Can't wait for the sequel.

I wasted two hours of my life on this movie. I already had low thoughts about it, because nobody can make a good movie off those amazing books. I was hoping for a bit more though. Edward (Robert) and Bella (Kristen) talked many many times in the book. They did NOT talk three times in fall in love. I am very sad to say this movie sucked. I will not be seeing it again. I would not recommend you go see it. if you truly like the books and not just Edward (whom is a fake character may i mind you) you will not want to see this.

Books are often better than the film adaptation and this film is another statistic for that stereotype. This film is a must see for everyone who has read the books but other than that it really only appeals to teenage girls gazing up at the hunk on screen and wishing it was them who he was after. The plot is weak ,the acting is mediocre, the characters are never really gone in depth with to really involve you in their story, and the action and adventure is few and far between. Instead of seeing this film invest the money into the books because its true in this case, books are often better than their film adaptations. It really deserves a 2.5/5

I don't understand anyone liking this film. The acting (what little trace of that there is) is so awful. We get it. Their Vampires. Pale skinned and shimmer like diamonds in the sun. BAD from beginning to end. Anyone with an IQ above 80, or who has ever seen anything with a plot will recognize the build up to a sequel. It's just bad. Awful. It's like Zoolander without the humor. Male models without a thought in their head. Sure Edward can read minds... can you read mine? Oh and hey, Hollywood, lighten up on the music bed/track. OVERLY done and annoying. Head tilts and vacuous stares without thought behind it communicates: NOTHING is going on in my head... truly the worst film I have seen this year.
