I thought this movie was a cute love story. women and young teens can relate to it. My three teens loved it as well as myself. my boyfriend disliked it because he said it drug on too long. I think women will like this better then men will. It is really adorable.

Went with my girlfriend and her 2 boys (who know the books), they also thought it was really great! We can't wait for the second movie to come out. I have a wide variety of movie genre favs, and this type is one of them. I and my girl, both agree it was a romantic story and also done very well in it's adaptation. Can make a great date movie! We related to the character's deep love for one another and stories of their past. Very intriguing vampire movie!!

My sister had told me about the books and I just thought that she was crazy. When the movie got closer to opening I really started to wonder if I would like it. I got the books and finished them in one week. Sitting through the movie didn't feel like 2 hours and even though it was a low budget film I think that Cathrine did a wonderful job. This film was a trial in a way to see if it would make it like the Harry Potter movies. I think the next movies will be even better and I can't wait! I have been back to see it again and I thought it was even better the second time. The actors will be able to grow in to there roles and make the next movies even better. I recommend this movie for a good love story.

If you have read the book thoroughly, you may find slight holes in the movie. They have kept the story intact with Stephanie Meyers, and made it interesting and visually engaging. Certainly, no waiting moments for the next thing to happen. Go see it!

I have read the books many times and I’m in love with them. The movie was so amazing. I loved it, but I think they could have added more to the movie. If they added some of the small scenes that were in the book, but not in the movie it would be better for the people who haven’t read the books understand it better and it wouldn’t seem like they just jump from one scene to another. It could have maybe progressed into the other scenes. And it would have been nice to see the other Cullens more. =)

I took my wife and granddaughter to see this movie. I counted a total of about 4 males at this movie at 7PM. Although, my wife and granddaughter enjoyed the movie, and I thought it intriguing. However, I did not like the suggestion of promoting and glorifying death for young girls to become an immortal vampire!!

Loved the movie. The actors were perfect for their roles. The dialogue could have been expanded on so people not reading the book would have a better understanding of the love the characters share. Hope New Moon will be longer to expand the story. Time went so fast during the movie wish it had been longer to include more detail. Can't wait to see the rest of the series. Great Movie!!!

This movie was okay. It really put you in the mind of the covenant....teenagers with supernatural powers. It would have been nice to see more action especially between the rivals. I didn't really like the ending, however, I suppose the director/producer is leading the movie into a sequeal. I rated this movie average because it could have been much better.

So I have seen this movie twice. The first time I saw it, I was ignorant to the fact that it was actually based on a book. The acting was so so but it definately was not the worst I had ever seen. The movie was good enough to make me buy the four book series. After reading all four books I went back for a second peak. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I understood why things happened, even as little as a smile or glare. Acting was still so so but I am excited to see what they will do with the 2nd and 3rd.

I saw the movie and then read the book. This movie was incredible. I instantly bought the next 3 and read them all within 2 weeks! This is by far the best love story I've ever seen! Rob Pattenson puts every other vampire out there to shame!

This movie was disappointing and fell far short of it's built up expectations. There were important parts of the story that were left out, giving the movie a very choppy and disjointed feel. It was difficult to feel any attachment to the charteres and there wasn't a sense of the intimate closeness that is portrayed in the books. Poorly done and not worth the price of a night out at the movies.

For all the hype I was expecting alot more. I know it had a low budget but come on. Did it really take that long to tell their "love story". It had too many long boring moments with not enough witty dialogue. His interactions with his family are funny.and what action there was turned out to be good. Also the lead actresses constant long suffering facial expressions before answering simple questions grew tiresome. It was a movie with alot of potential to me that just ended up being ok. I am sure the next one will be better with a bigger budget. Just my opinions. ^.^

I love it! The first time I watched the movie I compared it to the book and the movie deviates from the book in several places, so my first thoughts were "they could have made it better". However I have now seen the movie 6 times with no signs of slowing down or stopping. In fact I have 3 other friends lined up to watch the movie with this week, and I just saw it tonight. They could not have picked a better Edward -he was great. And although I think the actress playing Bella really looks the part, her acting was not as awe-inspiring as Edward - she didn't convey the "longing" and emotion that he did.

I'm a big fan of the books, but also a film buff. I thought with all the hype of the books this would have a bigger budget, but in the end the problems with the film that bothered me most didn't need a huge budget to fix. The stunts were fine. I realize it is hard to flush out the love story of an entire book in 2 hours but it's been done before--I really didn't get the intensity of their love in this movie. What bothered me most--of all things--the makeup and hair. It was ok on the 2 main characters but on Dr. Carlisle, Esme and Jasper--bad work. I could actually see a line where the white makeup ended on Esme's forehead in a scene or two! Surprised that kind of stuff was allowed through editing.

Twilight I thought was really well written,although the first time I saw it I didn't like how some of the things in the movie were very random but if it was exactly like the book it would be boring. Anyways I saw it twice and I want to see it again. I thought that Robb did an amazing job at playing Edward and that he really got into character. now I wanna see it once again!

I've seen this movie 3 times already and will probably see it again before it leaves. Can't wait to own it on DVD. Having read the book, the movie did a great job of following the story line. It exceeded expectations. Low budget was actually an excellent choice, so the viewer is not distracted by the special effects and the focus remains on the relationship between the main characters. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the Twilight Saga on film. Hopefully, we won't have to wait years - like Harry Potter. ENJOY!
