I HAVE SEEN THE MOVIE 3 TIMES. I LOVED IT. MY FAVORITE PART I WAS ABLE TO TAKE MY 10 YEAR SON TO SEE IT WITHOUT WORRY THAT I MIGHT HAVE TO SHIELD HIM FROM CERTAIN SCENES. I ALSO LOVED THE OLD FASHION WAY OF COURTING EACH OTHER. INSTEAD OF THE LETS GET TOGETHER NOT ACTUALLY GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER. HOPEFULLY YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. ALSO STAYED WITH THE BOOK, WOULD SEE IT AGAIN AND AGAIN.

I loved it. I read all the books and no surprise that books are better--books are always better. Very passionate love story with vampires. Cool movie. Everyone wants to be Edward, Bella or Jacob. I am a mother of two not a teenager and I still loved it. Can't wait for the second movie--I think I will re-read the books to keep me going until they make the second movie.

before twilight came out i wanted to see it. i had only heard about the book,so i read the book then i went and seen the movie.i knew alot of stuff was left out but overall it was the best movie ever. i have seen twilight 6 times. i have never seen a movie more then 2 times. i totally love this movie.i love edward and would totally recommend this movie to anyone.

This movie is geared to middle/high school aged girls so if you fit into that category then go see it - you will probably like it. But to me, it was very average. The two main characters basically spend the entire film pining for each other and expressing their desire for each other. That's really it - it gets REALLY old. The baseball scene is pretty cool, though.

To anyone who has read the books-see the movie twice. The first time you spend too much time comparing it to the book and you miss what is special about the movie.
And to other reviewers- of course, edward seems "weird" he's a vampire. And the author absolutely did NOT hate the movie, nor does she own any rights to it. She sold those. We were all just lucky Summit got a hold of it from MTV films and took the story back to the book.

I have read the whole Twilight series. I went into this movie with an open mind. (i read the whole Harry Potter series also, but could stay awake in the movies.) However, I absolutely loved this movie. It's impossible to be exactly like the book. I think they did a great job sticking to the main points of the book. I can't wait to see New Moon.

ok, i've seen the movie 3 times now and even though the book is so much better, it's still a great movie! Twilight fans need to see the movie. All the characters looked similar to how their described in the books. Edward i must say didn't look how i imagine but he did an awesome job in the movie.
No it's not a horror it was never intended to be!! Its a vampire romance with action. Don't go by what every1 says, go see it for yourself.

In most vampire movies they are trying to suck your blood but in this case quite the opposite. This is a classic love story with a twist. "the lion fell in love with the lamb" any body would be crazy not to see this movie!!!!

I think that twilight is in awsome movie and probably one of the best i have seen. from the begining to the end it was nothing but intersting. I loved everything about it. one of my favorite things about is the main vampire edward cullen. edward plays his character so well and is so attractive.

This movie moves so slowly that I went to get popcorn, and when I got back, I hadn't missed a thing. It's full of creepy-but-pretty people- like a mall on Saturday night. There's an awful lot of moody staring at each other. Way too dumb for most adults to enjoy. Nothing scary at all in this film, so it won't make even little kids have nightmares. Young teen and pre-teen girls will think the guys are 'just so hot! Parents, go see Seven Pounds while your kids see Twilight.

Thought action was good and it was high quality! Great sound effects thought the baseball scene was awesome! Shouldn't have shown Bella's underwear come on! Movie was so good didn't even realize that it lasted 2 hours!

So sad! My biggest disappointment was Edward...They made him out to be so weird, when really he is not "weird", just fighting with himself about the passion he feels for this girl. I think this was severely misinterpreted. I actually liked Bella. I felt she related to and reflected the self conscious girl of the books. Jasper was just pathetic! He looked like he had just farted in front of a room full of people throughout the entire movie. The special effects were awful. Way too much make-up on the characters. They rushed through the movie too quick. It was unbelievable from first sight to "die for you" love.

I enjoyed the movie and recommend it, but I have to wonder how much would I have enjoyed the movie had I not read the book in advance? Translating a book to film is incredibly challenging: Films are at such a disadvantage compared to books which are limited only by the imagination of the writer and reader.
As I watched the movie, my insight from the book filled in gaps that would have made the movie jump along too quickly or maybe too awkwardly. Some important dynamics were lost do to this compression of the story. Still, the story isn’t completely broken in the movie version, just truncated.

This was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I have read all the books at least three times, and listened to them on cd. The movie just made me realize how completely ridiculous the whole thing is. The acting is awful, there's not enough communication, everything is rushed, the special affects are pathetic. Really, I am sad I saw it and will hopefully never have to see it again.

This movie is for the die hard Twilight book fans Mostly. Kristen Stewart's acting was poor and bland as usual. The effects they used made this movie look like something that would go straight to DVD. To make this movie good they need more of the Cullen family scenes and more interactions between characters but other than that a lot of the movie is in the book which makes it great for the book fans!

For all those Harry Potter fans out there, you know what I mean when I say that movies based on books tend to disappoint. Twilight, however, did not. I have seen it twice now. It's a bit overly romantic, but have you read the book? In light of the book series, I would say that they did a very good job in bringing the soul of the books into the movie. I would recommend this movie to any person who is in touch with their inner romantic. I mean after all, who wouldn't want a vampire stalking them? lol. Watch the movie and you'll see what I mean. I find myself inserting narration such as, "And this is where any normal person would run away..." Other than a few points of unintended comedy, it's a very good movie. Just watch it already. ;p

After seeing this film i have to now live by the moral "dont judge a book by its cover" or movie in this case. This romantic action-filled thriller is based on best-selling novel by Stephenie Meyer and is not boring and actually keeps you on your seat quite a bit. Starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson this film keeps a solid backbone throughout and i do recommend it. I am a boy and i do say that this film suites both boys and girls, young and old.
